This trippy mix by Greeble is a homage to the early 2000s progressive era of psytrance. By the change of millennia, the new minimal and slowly evolving percussive grooves inspired by techno and progressive trance suddenly took over the dancefloors. What we nowadays call progressive psytrance is something completely different, but you can hear the echoes of original prog sounds in modern dark prog, zenonesque, and psytech.

"My friends call me Emmy alias E.P.L.E. I was born and raised in Spain and have been living for a while in Potsdam, Germany. I don't really have a specific genre, I like to choose different styles for different audiences, but l've been in love with progressive trance, hard trance and psytrance for a while.

In this mix I bring various elements from psytrance together, I am all about experimenting different genres in a mix. You will hear some progressive psy, melodic psytrance, some acid, old school psytrance and in the end some goa mixed in this colorful set that brings me to another space somewhere in the universe between the stars and hopefully you feel same just as I do."

WAPAQ is a nascent Psy Trance project by Tristan Kallweit from northern Germany. While he is visiting Psy Trance festivals and partys since 2013, the desire to get behind the decks himself has surfaced only in late 2023. Inspired by artists like Electric Universe and Mad Maxx/Mad Tribe, as well as Galactic Explorers and Audiosonic, he loves to play sets that are intense, fast and include a lot of machinic or electric sounds, preferably so as to give the people on the dancefloor but few breaks to breathe.
