A heavenly focus is critical to earthly endurance. God has made a promise to those who believe in Jesus that they will one day be in heaven forever with him. In Hebrews 12, to conclude a passage about endurance and perseverance, the author points the follower of Christ to gaze on heaven, to hold on for heaven. His description of heaven centers around Christ and how the follower of Christ miraculously belongs there! Hold on for heaven, brothers and sisters!
