""On the Corner” de 1972, é o álbum mais experimental e polêmico de Miles Davis. Explorando as fronteiras do jazz, o disco incorpora elementos de funk, música indiana, rock e sons eletrônicos, criando uma sonoridade densa e inovadora. Davis, sempre em busca de novas direções musicais, utilizou grooves repetitivos, batidas pesadas e improvisações desconstruídas, desafiando as convenções do jazz tradicional. Embora inicialmente criticado, o álbum foi mais tarde reconhecido como um álbum à frente de seu tempo, influenciando o jazz fusion, o hip-hop e a música eletrônica. Faixas como "Black Satin" e "One and One" são exemplos dessa fusão visionária."
