I can't quite remember why now, but the whimsical nature of this one I believe is what made me think to use Paper Mario for many of its instruments.

Wanted this one to be mostly FFVII, which often has a serenity to its sound. Supported it with Mother 3 for the lead Horns, and Ocarina for solo low strings. Other things, too, but those are the things that matter.

Can I just say how ridiculously efficient this MIDI's construction is??? It's a master craft. Everything that takes the lead and secondary lead is only two channels, leaving the rest to be dedicated to instruments that are constant through the piece. It's so well-built that this arrangement is the only one made entirely with SynthFont. It's a really interesting study, and one I plan to take into account the next time I actually make a .mid.

This is not a polished product, more of a curiosity.

It may also be hidden in the future due to nintendo copyright and not fitting in the rest of my portfolio.

Over the course of the spring I did some tinkering and made a custom soundfont plugin thing that has the OoT soundfont imported and customizable (very similar to RF-SoundFont but with my own addons). I also produced this small album of custom soundtracks telling a story some years after Majora's Mask!

The album has 8 tracks:
1 - Returning Alone
Link returns after his journey from the forest, alone and defeated in purpose.
2 - A Night in the Woods
The kokiri celebrate the return of the Hero of Time as an attempt to cheer him up.
3 - Resolve
Waking up in the morning, the news of a new quest sets Link on his last journey.
4 - Arcade of Shadows
What awaits the Hero is a twisted enemy playing in on his weaknesses.
5 - Wrath of Storms
One must pay the price for tampering with time itself.
6 - A Promise to be yours
It wasn't the princess in need of saving.
7 - Founding Ordon
My favourite song from this album telling my favourite headcanon
8 - Title Theme

You've reached the home of the so-called "epic Wario" thing. I've a massive catalogue of waamixes and waarangements for yon nigras to peruse with hearty contentment, as they eat whole garlic loaves and shoulder bash their computer.

Sorry if uhhh the volume for tracks varies, or is just relatively all-over-the-place. Even though I usually keep my system vol. at 52, there have been times where I've changed it and forgot that I did, then started working on a project.

Q: Why do I use the Wario Land 4 soundfont to some capacity for so many tracks?
A: Because I love the way it sounds, obviously. Half the reason why I'll start making a MIDI in the first place is that I want to hear what it'd sound like with the Wario Land 4 soundfont.
