A DJ and producer in deep atmospheric techno since the late nineties, Noorderzon has emerged from a myriad of pseudonyms and alter egos. The Intergalactic FM community, an undeniable influence for a native of The Hague, significantly altered the course of his life. Noorderzon's sound is best described as psychoactive electronics, with ventures into acid, techno, and electro. Enjoy the journey and vanish without a trace.

CHALÉ has established himself as a household name in the Amsterdam nightlife scene. The DJ/Producer with Ghanaian roots is known for his innate expertise behind the decks, skillfully experimenting with rhythmic pulses, percussion, and seamless transitions. CHALÉ's sound spans the freshest selections from UK Bass to global and hip-hop-influenced club music.

Beyond locally, CHALÉ has expanded his presence across Europe, performing at renowned clubs in cities such as Paris, Milan, London, Copenhagen, and Berlin—bringing his distinctive sound to both underground dance floors and fashion events.

He has also taken center stage at major festivals like Lowlands, Wildeburg, Down The Rabbit Hole, and DGTL. Ahead of his set at Lowlands 2024, 3voor12 spotlighted CHALÉ as a “hidden gem to watch,” while his performance at Wildeburg 2024 earned praise from the platform as one of the weekend’s standout highlights.

As a producer, CHALÉ has drawn attention with his releases. His Drum Dub club edit series has become an unmissable dance floor tool, gaining support from DJs such as Jyoty, Ploy, Pearson Sound, Saint Ludo, Ben UFO, and FS Green. His tracks have also been heard on respected platforms like BBC Radio, Rinse FM, and NTS, reaching audiences beyond the club circuit. Ranie Ribeiro's artistic journey has taken on new dimensions and disciplines. Formerly known by his DJ moniker D-Ribeiro, Ranie Ribeiro is solidifying himself as a harpist. 

One of the notable aspects of his transformation is not only embracing the role of a composer, but also as a stage performer. 
For award winning choreographer Sedrig Verwoert’s latest piece “The Ritual” (2023), Ribeiro was initially commissioned as a co-composer alongside Phantom Wizard. Eventually both self taught musicians performed live on stage while Sedrig Verwoert and Alanna Archibald executed the piece in elegant movements.  

In live performances at acclaimed venues such as Paradiso, Melkweg and de Doelen (2023) Ribeiro used the harp to experiment with classical, electronica and hiphop elements while creating and adding on to existing compositions he describes as meditative and vulnerable. Ribeiro also appeared with singer-songwriter Linde Schone on NPO 3FM and with the newly formed Kinship Ensemble at Ruigoord (2023).

Ribeiro unveils his talents as a score composer for the first time on Het Jaar Rond on Nous’Klaer (2021), commissioned by the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision. Embracing the harp’s delicate resonance he went on scoring various projects such as Het Limburgse Landschap (2021), Short Scores (2022) commissioned by Eye Film, and most recently, Waka Nanga Mi (2023). The latter short film was screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and received massive public acclaim.

Jonas grew up in Mažeikiai, an industrial town in Lithuania, famous for its oil industry, which apparently is a very proper soil for electronic music. Like most kids back in the days, he took up trombone, piano and breakdance. His early music experience was influenced by broken beat and so he started to mix Hip Hop and Funk music under the alias Calli. 

Jonas paused his exploration of music for a while after reaching Minimal Techno and relishing its scope of creativity. He discovered MINUS in 2007 and immediately became a big fan of Magda, Marc Houle, Heartthrob and the likes. Shortly he started showcasing his personal selections in various festivals and venues all over Lithuania. He got acquainted with his future partner-in-crime Pupa and Shn, head promoter of the foremost Lithuanian techno community minimal.lt. Step by step, Calli consolidated as a key perfomer in the Lithuanian techno scene.

Concentrating on one style turned out to be hard, so Calli continued his musical pilgrimage by playing in many clubs and festivals around his home country. Matured and experienced, he was confident enough to start his own production. His talent was quickly noticed by Mantas T., the founder of a Lithuanian net-label Partyzanai, and in 2011 Jonas proudly presented his first EP ‘Acid from Nowhere’, which quickly gained recognition in the techno audience.

A few Techno and Tech House EPs in different labels soon followed, including his latest and most profound EP „Reverse Stories“, recorded in collaboration with the Lithuanian techno pioneer Pagalve. Their vinyl was later supported by UMEK, James Ruskin, Maya Jane Coles and even Joseph Capriati himself. During his career, Calli was lucky enough to jog turntables both locally and abroad with Magda, Troy Pierce, Marc Houle, DJ T., Dasha Rush, Snuff Crew and many others.

Later on the producer’s new love, Dark Disco-inspired spacious sound, started to beg for a new artistic alias. John Patter was born and the alter ego was a good enough reason to invest on new studio equipment and broaden his abilities of production. Launched with remixes for ba., a Lithuanian post-punk prodigy, and Latvian producers Esoniq & Negorod, he soon began laying some serious studio work and came up with his debut EP „Space Race“ in 2015, released in Ninefont.

After several releases on Argentinean’s label, John continues on his sound path and thus a new release is born on the Spanish label Shara Music called “Noche Santos”. Before this EP, Jonas did a great remix for Tkuz track “Electrico” which was released on the same label.

During the successful his own managed Darkroom event series in one of the best Lithuanian night club Kablys, he met many great artists from abroad and his sound was moved forward as well. The inspiration leaded him to new dimensions of EBM, mixtures of Dark Disco with Broken Beats and the result was a new release born on Esthetique’s sub label MOIL called “Trois Larmes” on 2020. Jonas continued his musical journey with inspiring new tracks & EP's, which were released on Rotten City Files and Melomana Records.
