This score was written and recorded for a songwriters festival, celebrating Hans Zimmer's birthday in 2022.
The theme of the film offered was WATER, showing everything from raindrops, forming a trickle of water, which increases until it becomes a gigantic lake.

Neverending Darkness

Welcome to my little corner of the musical universe. My name is Karl and here you will find songs and sketches I have made. I hope you like some of them.

Timo Kittilä (*1984, Tampere, Finland) has graduated in December 2016 from his composition studies at Tampere University of Applied Sciences where he was taught by Hannu Pohjannoro, Jyrki Linjama and Jovanka Trbojevic. In masterclasses he has been taught by Kaija Saariaho, Jukka Tiensuu and Tomi Räisänen. His works have been performed in Finland and abroad by numerous musicians including the contemporary music ensembles Tampering Ensemble and TampereRaw and the organists Esa Toivola and Jan Lehtola. Timo has been part of the executive committee of the contemporary music association Tampering ry since the association was established in year 2013 and has participated in organizing the Tampering Festival of years 2014, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022.

Recent performances of Timo’s works include his work Chants for chamber ensemble performed at the Tampering Festival 2022 in Tampere, Finland, August 2022.

As a composer, Timo is inspired by the interplay of the conscious and the unconscious in music. His musical language and composing method have evolved from using the broader form of a work as a starting point and working towards the details to a more detail-oriented perspective and the emphasis of contrapuntal motion in his latest works.

Mauricio Grassmann is a musician, composer, arranger, sound technician, music producer and acoustic designer.
He attended the São Paulo Municipal School of Music, studying popular guitar, classical guitar and cello. 
He studied guitar at IGT with Mozart Mello and later with Heraldo do Monte. He studied Electroacoustic Music at the Goethe Institute and Minimalist Music with Philip Glass. He worked as a musician and arranger with Chico César, Eduardo Agni, Madan Neves and others. Created the instrumental music bands (Fusion–Jazz / Prog Rock) Proscenium and Sintagma. 
He has strong influences from classical music, from Bach to Stravinsky, Progressive Rock, Jazz and Fusion, and the music of Clube da Esquina.

In 1988 he founded the FrequênCia Rara studio, recording names such as; Dominguinhos, Egberto Gismonti, Naná Vasconcelos, Badi Assad, Gilberto Gil, Banda de Pífanos de Caruarú, Jamil Maluf, Adriana Mezzadri among others. He has produced hundreds of CDs, theater tracks, jingles and spots for radio and TV, tracks for videos and documentaries for TV Senac (TVS). 
Founded the New Mind Music Records in 2016 - the music that connects your spirit to divine silence.
