Written in the early sixties (#13 in my catalogue). Many of these early songs were simply me trying to find a style in my early days of songwriting. A simple arrangement as a demo, for now.... Lots of delay on this guitar

The first version of what would become the track "Our Landlord" off Reklama's Who Swallowed Who EP from 2023. This was recorded on September 5, 2021. The final track and music video would not be released until May 2023. The final track would go on to sound much different.  Part of a series documenting the evolution of a song over time.

Contemporary songwriter - Multimedia artist

TENEDLE is a composer, songwriter, producer, performer and multimedia artist,
born in Florence (Italy) in 1969. He lives and works in Holland. In the second half of the ‘80s Tenedle was a member of the electronic new wave band Laughing Silence.
The band breaks up in 1995 and Tenedle begins a series of collaborations and projects in the field of electronic music and starts his solo career which he continues up to now.

Since then Tenedle released 7 albums Psicfreakblusbus (2003), Luminal (2005), Alter (2007) Grancassa (2010), Vulcano (2014) Odd to love - A tribute to Emily Dickinson (2015) and Traumsender (2018). 

Distinguished by a mix of songwriting, electronic music, themes from the ‘imaginary’,
Tenedle’s projects have led the press to call him “a visionary songwriter”
and his songs to be described as “small films”. Tenedle is a “contemporary songwriter” and his music is a personal and recognisable universe. Experimenting with many forms of art like painting, graphics and visuals. Tenedle also writes and produces music and ideas for theatre, dance and movies, working as a producer in other artists records.

Over the years he has participated in several Prizes gaining recognising
both in Italy than in The Netherlands. Tenedle presents his live gigs by way of a multimedia performance based on sound and images.
Alone or with guest musicians the last years Tenedle performed in Italy, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg and England.

The performance consists of images and music from his repertoire,
shifting from moments of electronics to unplugged situations with theatrical hints.

All my own AI assisted tracks, are free to download.

I have been writing songs since1959 until the present. As a songwriter, I am more than happy with the wide range of songs I have written over the years. But my musical skills are quite limited and the early demos on Soundcloud are of me singing  and accompanying myself on guitar or latterly ukulele. I can strum the strings well enough, but there my skills end.

Recently I discovered Suno AI and the results astounded me. I could finally produce demos of my songs to be proud of. I am currently going thru my catalogue of songs and producing AI assisted demos. I know many musicians turn away from AI but it has a place for me. There is no other way I could have obtained some 300 demos to this level. I do not and do not intend to look for any reward except the satisfaction that hearing my own songs gives me.

I am still writing and hope to have many more years of songs left in me, Enjoy if you can and I would love to hear your comments on the tracks, if the music moves you at all.

Nickels Hawkeye is a producer and recording artist hailing from the Pacific Northwest, specifically Seattle, Washington. He’s been a significant figure in the region’s underground music scene for over two decades, known for his work in hip-hop, rap, and experimental instrumental beats. He runs Soundmind Artists, an instrumental record label he founded, which showcases his own projects as well as other artists he’s collaborated with or produced.
