SAMUSE - BOMENRIJK 2023

This is a  practise mix I did last summer for Revel Fest in Hedley, BC. It's a journey of tunes that I wanted to explore for an early evening time slot. My plan was to build a soundscape that would allow for the party peeps to make food, get ready for the night and bring a proper summer vibe against the backdrop of the beautiful Similkameen valley. His beginnings in electronic music date back to 1990, the year the English band Depeche Mode released Violator, an album that would mark a turning point in his musical tastes.

By the age of 16, he was already spinning vinyls on Technics SL-1200 mk2 turntables. His passion for exquisite dance music led him to become the resident DJ @ Nican, a nightclub in his hometown.

His current playlists of deep and organic house at low tempos are ideal for informal events on rooftops and at beach clubs, creating magical moments with countless unofficial remixes of well-known artists, perfect for painting sunsets with memories. His smooth mixes, with long and elegant loops, make his sets a truly enjoyable listening experience.

After his performance at the Closing Party @ Monkey Beach Club Ibiza in October 2023, and his more than 70 sets as resident DJ in Lloret de Mar (GI), in April 2025 he releases his podcast Forever Lost every Monday and Thursday, a show focused in the newest progressive house music.

In July 2025 he starts as resident DJ on Cross Land Music, a recognized spanish label releasing fresh deep house. His new show Moments is aired every Tuesday at 5pm CET on www.crosslandmusic.com

Constantly evolving as a professional DJ, he has performed at Ruta N2, FlyClub, Room9 and The Supermercat, where he recently presented his Lost! Barcelona party.

DJ VAS or Vassilis Psyroukis as he is known was born in Frankfurt, Germany. Encouraged by Sven Vath’s physiognomy and the explosive atmosphere that prevailed that night, Vassilis had made the decision of his life. He grew up in Greece, where he started DJing at the age of 18. Known for residencies in night clubs and having taken part in many parties on the island where he grew up, playing alongside big names of the Greek dance scene such as John Dalagenis, Tom Ef, Cosmas Epsilon, Christian Cambas, Christo Z, Mikee, Mikele and Jose Zamora. In addition, he has participated in the Angel Parade Festival on the island of Chios as well as in the Beach Street Festival. Over the past 12 years, Dj Vas has been a dynamic figure on the radio scene and member of ΣΥΝTHESIS – Electronic Music Community of Lesvos.
