basically if you play more than 3 notes you lose all the bass

play 5 notes,...then you can make it sound like a HT-6000/HT-700 which has no bass whatsoever !!!!

volume also seems to compress if you play more than 4 notes (that is with both DCO's / lines in operation) this is probably due to phase cancellation maybe to prevent clipping output? but where phase starts cancelling and limiting amplitude probably depends more on the patch /waveform combination selected.
