I made this in 2 hours and it’s easily one of my favorite tunes I’ve made. A typical song writing process for me is digging through my bandcamp wishlist for tracks I’ve saved to be sampled, I’ll then download a few tracks that seem like they’ll work together, and then open abelton and get to chopping. Sometimes it’s absolute shit no chance I’m making anything happen and then other times it’s magic. I’m obsessed with how this one came together, it’s literally 6 audio tracks. Simple, yet I must say I finessed all of the samples to work together the way they do :p 🩵🩵

I make music with the intention of exploring the infinite acts of creation that connect us all, and to also create new space for spirits of sound to collaborate in what seems to be their desired ways. In this process I mostly see myself as a conduit which ties the strings of sonic-self-expressions of others together, however, these expressions then emerge in new ways that feel so undoubtedly like myself that I must also acknowledge the role that my ego and spirit has in this equation.

Chopping samples is a meditative experience. The process continually contextualizes my understanding of self as one with everything that has ever been and that will be, all existing simultaneously in the eternal now. Producing music provides me with peace along my personal timeline with growth. Through the upmost veneration and collaboration with all that has come before me, "my songs" come together. I hope they provide you with an instance of peace and happiness as they do for me:) All of my cover art is made by me as multimedia digital collages:)
