Vi pratar om hennes resa – från ett liv som aktiv alkoholist och narkoman, där hon levde bakom en välpolerad fasad med jobb, sociala sammanhang och ett till synes aktivt liv, till att förlora allt. Vändpunkten kom när hon genomgick en behandling och fann styrkan i ett 12-stegsprogram som hjälpte henne att bygga upp sitt liv igen.

I samtalet utforskar vi också långsiktig recovery och de utmaningar som kan uppstå, särskilt för oss kvinnor. Vi lyfter vikten av att vara vaksam på hur vår hormonella cykel kan påverka tillfrisknandet.
