Hi there! 

I am a 21-year-old songwriter, producer, and performer with a lifelong passion for music and a drive to create meaningful connections in the industry. Originally from New Zealand, I moved to England at 15 to attend a performing arts school and pursue my music career. I went on to graduate with an Extended Diploma in Music Performance, Production, and Live Sound from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), where I was awarded Student of the Year.

Now in the final year of my BA (Hons) Songwriting degree, I have built a portfolio of projects, performances, and collaborations, while also connecting with industry professionals to expand my network. Over the years, I have self-recorded and released a pop album, performed at open mics and venues across Liverpool, Leeds, and Chester, and received music awards for my dedication and achievements.

Songwriting has been my passion since childhood, and I am motivated by helping others tell their stories through music. My goal is to continue developing as a songwriter and co-writer, while also exploring opportunities within record labels, artist development, and creative projects. 🔥 'Eddy' Edwards is a musician who, during his early career, he played lead guitar in various rock bands. He now plays synthesizers and keyboards when producing tracks, indulging in his love of trance music.. 

🔥 Eddy fell in love with trance music during the 90's, but his music career encompassed all things rock and guitar. Until now! 

🔥 His passion for trance music has ignited his resurgence into the music scene, and he now produces and plays everything from uplifting vocal trance, to pop music and euro-dance.

🔥 Eddy's dream would be for one of the top DJ's (Giuseppe Ottaviani, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Lange, Craig Connelly etc) to play one of his tracks in their live sets. Ultimately, to hear one of his tracks played at a major trance event such as 'Tomorrowland', 'Luminosity' or 'Transmission'.🙏🎹

Gerhard Andreas Schreiber. Since the 1980s,  composing and producing music under the name octave plateau. What began in the shadowed clubs of the post-punk era and the neon-lit pulse of the Neue Deutsche Welle has grown into a lifelong journey through diverse soundscapes and emotions.

Back then, working with artists like Markus, capturing the spirit of a generation in transition – between analog grit and melodic futurism. But the musical path didn’t stop there.

Deutscher Schlager – emotional, melodic, and lyrical. I approach this genre with both respect and reinvention – drawing from its traditions while reshaping its form for contemporary ears.

Neue Deutsche Welle (NDW) – raw, ironic, and rhythmic. NDW has always been the rebellious heart of octave plateau, combining German lyrics with electronic textures, punk aesthetics, and a dose of playful absurdity.

In 2024, these songs – some newly written, others rediscovered and reimagined – are being produced in the octave plateau studio in Berlin. Here, the past and the present meet in harmony and friction.
