Coming up next from Cydana Sounds is another team-up for label owner Cendryma! This time, he joins forces with Mexican DJ and producer MUUK, for a dark and moody triple threat that is sure to catch the ear of many fans of the dark and the underground. Opener Outside the Program is a tougher edged affair, driven by atmospheric vocal stabs, deep basslines and a whole lotta mood! The track builds the excitement through a driving groove that fades away until theres only a deep bassline left, creative a transition into the main drop of the tune that is filled with layers upon layers of atmosphere! Up next, we have a tune even darker than the opener, Artificial Mind. Subtle high frequencies cymbals and top loops make the energy unstoppable. An extended breakdown that filters down into the subterranean, filtered bassline releases the tension with a clean drum fill that re-introduces the track at its peak where once again, filtered and reverb-drenched vocal stabs are revealed. The tracks ends just as it began, filtering out the groove and leave just the drums. A perfect tune for those dark, moody nights! Finally, to close the EP is a thunderous affair, G-Force. Having awoken the beast of Cendrymas darkness, MUUKs final collaboration on the EP with the American is truly the perfect closer. Atmospheric, energetic, dark and even a little uplifting. Avenue One, the electrifying DJ duo, is the brainchild of two extraordinary talents, Matt Cerf and Petr Leško. With roots in Montreal, Canada, and Zlin, Czech Republic, they joined forces in 2012, driven by a shared love for music. Both members have deep-seated connections to the electronic music world.

In July 2022, Avenue One made a triumphant debut on Anjunabeats with the mesmerizing "Upstairs Terrace," a track that resonated with audiences worldwide, thanks to its inclusion in the Anjunabeats Volume 16 compilation mixed by Above & Beyond. Their 2022 album, "Outside My Door," marked a return to the scene after a hiatus, featuring standout tracks like "Rupture" and "Explorer."

Continuing their journey in 2023, they unveiled "Sky Falls" on Anjunabeats and the captivating "Uprising" on Colorize. In February 2024, they prepared a guest mix for Above & Beyond's Group Therapy radio show. March 2024 saw the release of their remix of the legendary trance anthem "Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren - Man On The Run" on Armada Music. In April 2024, they released "My Soul," a collaboration with the duo re:boot on Enhanced Progressive, which received support from Armin van Buuren on A State Of Trance and Above & Beyond's Group Therapy. In July 2024, they released "Days & Nights," the first single from their upcoming EP, chosen as the "Record of the Week" on Group Therapy by Above & Beyond.

With their innovative sound and a profound bond with fans, Avenue One is poised for a lasting impact in the electronic music domain, promising a vibrant future filled with fresh beats and musical adventures.

It all started with a few friends who like to hang out and bold enough to roll out a fresh vision with true emotion into their productions. Live “Living Room Sessions” (LRS) started evolving and building a tribe of exceptionally talented artists and like-minded souls, bringing people together as one within a liminal space. 

Influences such as House, R&B, Blues, Rock & Roll, Indie Dance, Deep and Progressive House, Melodic Deep-Tech and Psychedelic Trance and everything in between. Conjuring up exaggerated tones that are brightened harmonics over others ecstatic combinations.

Amsterdam based Daniel Testas has been working as a composer, producer  and DJ for quite some time. 

His first little steps into the world of music creation were made at the beginning of the nineties. Inspired by progressive, pioneering people like Brian Eno, Juan Atkins, Pump Panel, Afrika Bombaataa and Kraftwerk, he felt the urge to take the path of music himself. 

After lots of experimentation in home studio’s, Daniel teamed up with his brother to form the Brothers Testas, creating and releasing house music on illustrious UK labels like Sperm Records and Jam Records, and playing big clubs and raves in Amsterdam.

Next up was Project2000 this exotic (live) drum&bass band had huge success at the beginning of the new millennium (releases on Universal Records). 

After that came many lounge and chill albums with Praful and Adani&Wolf (Therapy Records) andmore recently the Balearic house scene was entered with the group Bo Geste (releases on Prison entertainment and Jalapeno Records). 

But... blood runs thicker than water, so in 2015 Daniel went back to his production roots and his old, but first love: house music. That resulted in a big stream of releases on various good quality labels.

Besides these activities Daniel has always also composed a lot of electro-acoustic music. That could be either autonomous or for film, dance and video projects. In these projects almost everything that inspires Daniel in composition and production come together in an imaginative symbiosis: sampling and synthesis, abstraction, accessibility, musique concrete, soundscape-design, sound and melody counterpoint, spectral and spatial processing, beat-creation, etc

STARTING IN THE WORLD OF ELECTRONIC MUSIC IN 2015 IN MEXICO CITY, MUUK' HAS BEEN BUILDING HIS PATH AS A DJ AND PRODUCER WITH PASSION AND DEDICATION. COMPLETING HIS TRAINING AT THE RENOWNED MONNROM ACADEMY, MUUK' HAS ACQUIRED SKILLS IN ABLETON AND THE ART OF DJING WITH PLAYERS AND TRAKTOR. MUUK' HAS HAD THE HONOR OF COLLABORATING WITH IMPORTANT RECORD LABELS SUCH AS SON NATURA VIVA, TANZGEMEINSCHAFT, CAPITAL HEAVEN, POLYPTYCH, COLORE, INU, AREY LE BIEN ET LE MAL, AMONG OTHERS. FURTHERMORE, HE HAS SHARED THE STAGE WITH GREAT ARTISTS SUCH AS CHRISTIAN SMITH, THE DARA, DRUNKEN KONG, SMOKEG, JULY ARISTY, AARON SUISS, D-UNITY, AND MARCO BAILEY. IN 2018, MUUK' HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BRING HIS MUSIC TO COSTA RICA, PERFORMING AT THE RENOWNED PARADISE VIP CLUB AND LEAVING A MEMORABLE MARK ON THE AUDIENCE.
