Almost 15 years ago, our very first intergalactic artist to ever grace the Colour of Sound stage was none other than U-Recken — the legendary psytrance voyager from Dacru Records! 
The strong connection with U-Recken continued after his first set with us, where Colour of Sound collaborated with his Tree of Life Festival Turkey event & journey via Australia and the world...

So for our grand return, on Saturday the 23rd of August, it felt right to reunite with U-Recken performing a MASSIVE 4 HOUR EXTENDED SET, diving deep into the hypnotic realms of pure psychedelic trance in the industrial belly of Melbourne’s most iconic venues The Industrique for a wild night of cosmic chaos and laser-fuelled lunacy!

Recorded live under the Aetheria canopy, this set blends weight, groove, and that signature Spirit bounce & funk, linked with the heavy drops!

Made this track with a good mate in the wake of Resonant Frequency Festival. Bit of everything in there for a trippy hypnotic sound. We used some Australian bird samples and didge to bring in a bit of home.

I’ve recently just started producing again and ember ing the pain. However the rewards personally are satisfying when you complete a track.

Sou cantor, multi-instrumentista e DJ com mais de 10 anos de experiência na música. Minha trajetória começou no rock e na MPB, mas foi na música eletrônica que encontrei meu espaço. Apaixonado por festivais e pela energia única da pista, meu trabalho como DJ é focado em criar sets dinâmicos que mantêm o público em movimento e conectam as pessoas através do som.

Minhas apresentações exploram a expansão mental e a psicodelia, sempre buscando misturar elementos progressivos e energéticos para entregar uma experiência envolvente. Além de criar música, sou fã de shows, raves e de todas as formas de arte, sempre em busca de aprender e compartilhar novas ideias.

Aqui no Dosage Lab, compartilho ideias sonoras em processo: esboços, experimentos, atmosferas inacabadas e pequenas doses de criação. A proposta é abrir o laboratório criativo e mostrar não só o resultado final, mas o caminho até ele. Um espaço pra pesquisa, liberdade e evolução constante.

The Delegate. Good time maker. Is a DJ/Producer and the co founder of Jungle Juice Records who has been supplying the good vibes and driving bass lines to the doof scene for over 12 years. Originating in Sydney James found his home and his people on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. He has developed his own unique sound which ignites the fire on the dancefloor creating smiles all round.
