Does silence grow teeth some days,
like a hum you can’t dismiss?

Do animals flinch when you pass,
or turn their heads like they knew?
Can you feel the pulse of someone else,
beating quiet next to you?

Every pattern folds in half,
your breath divides the math.
Angles hum, mirrors lag

out of key, in perfect tension.
Counting seconds that don’t align,
breaking rhythm just in time.

Can you guess a card before it’s turned?
Hear a name before it’s learned?
Does glass tremble when you speak,
does your voice bend what’s weak?

Have you walked through places unknown,
felt the floor shift like it moaned?
Dreamed of rooms that later exist,
like time forgot what it missed?

Numbers hum without the words.

This one is a mashup of two older songs I wrote a million years ago. Dusted 'em off and made this out of it. Maybe this song exists in the "Outlaws of New Texas" universe. Maybe it doesn't exist at all. But...how are you listening to it right now...? Are you real? Are any of us real? Is anything real?

Autistic static — the only law.
