Still a work in progress but has been completely re-written from scratch on the MPC LIVE III. 

Tempo, key, scale, and lyrics were  then fed into a voice generator, and sampled, chopped, and processed in the MPC.

Lastly, it was stemmed back out into Orion for extra tracks and processing.

Spirit DJ set orchestrates a sophisticated dialogue between the cerebral and the physical. While grounded in the hypnotic traditions of the underground, this session refuses to stay static, evolving from meditative Sci-Fi textures into high-velocity kinetic grooves. The selection creates a tension-filled tapestry, weaving the deep, spatial sound design of Artefakt and Nørbak with the relentless, raw precision of Slam and Marcal. It is a functional, multi-layered experience that embodies the Breakfast T. Club ethos: intellectual sound designed not just for the mind, but for the body in motion.

SPIRIT — DEEP MENTAL HYPNOTIC TECHNO DJ SET / BREAKFAST T. CLUB (BT.C) — TECHNO PLATFORM

This mix is a focused excavation of SGN:LTD between 2006 and 2012, a period where the imprint carved out a distinct identity alongside Shogun Audio. Deeper cuts, forward-thinking production and timeless songwriting defined the label’s catalogue, balancing soulful musicality with stripped-back low-end pressure.
Across this session, the sound moves through the many shades that made SGN:LTD special: warm liquid textures, crisp rolling drums, melancholic atmospheres and moments of darker, tech-edged intensity. It reflects an era where space mattered, sub weight carried emotion, and every release felt intentional.
Early releases from the likes of Lenzman, Spectrasoul, Alix Perez, Icicle, Technimatic and Need For Mirrors helped shape this chapter, alongside contributions from Proxima, Dose, Spinline, Serum and many more. Together, they built a catalogue that still resonates today.
The blends are patient and progressive, true to my style, letting tracks breathe and narratives unfold naturally. This isn’t about quick drops or nostalgia for its own sake; it’s about revisiting a blueprint moment in drum & bass history and presenting it with care.
For those who were there, this mix hits memory. For those discovering it now, this is a window into one of the most consistent and influential label runs of its time.

Breakfast T. Club is a project shifting the perspective on techno culture. We move the focus from nocturnal inertia to Daylight Events. We break the stereotype of "techno = hard = night = doping," offering an alternative: intellectual sound and conscious presence.

Sound. We move away from monotonous heaviness towards intellectual techno. Our priority is the modern Dutch school and the roots of the European underground. We focus on subtle, multi-layered sound: Minimal, Mental, Rolling, Hypnotic, and Groove, offering a spectrum from deeply meditative to rhythmic yet textural sets.

Goal. BTC is the documentation of a journey. We aim to create an environment that doesn't just entertain but catalyzes artist development and deepens the audience's understanding of the genre. We remove social masks, uniting people through pure sound.
