Das Kabinett ist vorbei, mein Herz ist voll, alle Bananen ausgequetscht und Ich hab endlich ein paar Worte gefunden, die ich gerne loswerden möchte. 
 
Ich hätte mir kein geileres Closing & ersten Gig beim Kabinett vorstellen können. Die Energie die in diesem Raum war einfach wunderschön mit anzusehen. Am liebsten wäre ich mit in der Menge gestanden. Ihr habt abgeliefert! So sehr dass ich mitten im Set die Nachricht bekomme, ob ich denn noch Tracks für ne weitere Stunde hätte. Was war da bitte los. Mein personal Highlight dieses Jahr hätte ich mir nicht schöner ausmalen können. Es war ein turbulentes Jahr und in solchen Momenten fühl ich mich am lebendigsten.
 
Und im gleichen Atemzug wollte ich einfach auch mal Danke sagen, für alle Menschen die bisher Teil dieses Weges waren. Für jede Person, die ihren Schrittzähler mit mir in die Höhe treibt, die mitsingt, mitfühlt, mitlächelt. Es ist das schönste Gefühl auf dieser ganzen Welt anderen durch Musik eine Freude zu bereiten und genau deswegen bedeutet mir das hier auch so viel.  
 

DIch mach das jetzt schon ein paar Jährchen, aber hatte erst vor knapp einem Jahr die Möglichkeit beim Rummelfest das Opening auf einem richtigen Event zu spielen. Und niemals hätte ich mir vorstellen können, was alles so in einem Jahr passieren kann. Danke an Phil, Alex, und jeden aus dem Atelier-Team für die Möglichkeit vor einem Jahr und für diese beim Kabinett. Das Kabinett hat mir so viel gegeben, ich hoffe ich konnte das in dieser Nacht zurückgeben. Danke an jeden meiner Freunde, die jedes mal supporten wenn sie können. Aber das dickste Dankeschön geht an Rachi, die sogar nach 15 Stunden Autofahrt aus der Toskana noch bis 9 Uhr morgens auf der Tanzfläche steht. Egal ob mit 2 oder mit Hunderten Leuten. Du bist immer da, du stehst immer hinter mir, du hast von Anfang an an mich geglaubt. Ich mach das alles für und wegen dir. 
 
Dieses Set ist für dich <3 
 
Ich habe versucht so viele kleine musikalische Anekdoten wie möglich reinzupacken in diese Reise. Von genreübergreifenden Überraschungen, wie Pink Floyd oder System of a Down (der ging an dich Chris) über Banger reimagined aus meinem ersten Set vom Rummelfest bis hin zu meiner Liebe morgens um 7 auf dem Festival barfuß an der Psytrance Stage zu stehen. Es ist so viel Zeit und Herzblut hier reingeflossen, in einer Zeit wo ich auch mitten im Bachelorendspurt war. Und ich würde es genauso wieder tun. Ich hoffe ihr hattet/habt mit diesem Set genauso viel Spaß wie ich. 
 
 
Also wenn ich jetzt sagen würde, ich könnte glücklich sterben, dann wäre das vielleicht ein bisschen extrem (die eine oder andere Nacht würde ich dann doch noch gerne mit euch durchscheppern), aber wenn alles morgen vorbei wäre... dann wäre ich doch verdammt stolz und im Zen.  

Wer weiß wo die Reise hingehen wird, ich freu mich auf jeden weiteren Tanz, den mir das Leben beschert. Und bis dahin reist gerne mit mir nochmal durch Banarnia.  
 
Denn die Reise werde ich nie vergessen.

With one funny hand and a spaceship of knobs, I summon rolling basslines, dreamy vocals, and dark, sensual often hypnotic vibes.
Mostly techno — but not only. I play sounds shaped by rhythm, emotion and contrast.

Rachel Raw is a DJ and producer based in Cologne, Germany. Her sound falls into the realms of dark minimal and psy techno. It is characterized by deep and punchy beats—a distinctive combination of minimal and groovy 'dirty' techno.

Rachel began her own record label, Jaw Dropping Records, in January 2019. As she progressed, she achieved rapid success with releases on labels such as Stil vor Talent, Jannowitz Records, Desert Hearts Black, and Yoshitoshi Recordings.

Rachel Raw's music can be heard in clubs throughout Germany, and she has already made her mark at venues like Sisyphos, Ritter Butzke (both in Berlin), as well as Waagenbau (Hamburg). Since 2022, she has been a resident DJ at the Wednesday event at KitKat Club Berlin: Symbiotikka and at Reineke Fuchs in Cologne.

Originally from Cape Town, Mark has been involved in the underground music scene in Cape Town and London since 2007. For over a decade, he ran the legendary "Rythm is my Bitch" party, which promoted local talent and built a community of like-minded party heads.

Now based in Porto, his sets range from a grittier indie dance and proggy sound to a more banging techno and psy-tech style, depending on the time of day, location, and crowd.
