This song carries profound personal significance, as it evokes cherished memories of my late grandmother, whose legacy I honor. I first encountered this poignant melody in my hometown, the picturesque islands of Palau, where it was performed by Edward Ongrung. Each note of this composition is intricately woven with the joyful moments I shared with my grandmother, rendering it a valuable part of my musical journey.

In this interpretation, I am privileged to utilize Edward Ongrung's original accompaniment and am pleased to note that he is aware of my cover. I have undertaken the challenge of performing both the lead vocals and the supporting harmonies, blending my voice with Edward Ongrung's accompaniment. It is my sincere aspiration that you find enjoyment in this rendition, as it represents a labor of love and a tribute to the memories I hold in high regard.

I watched Rod Stewart and his daughter perform this song, and it was very endearing. I first heard it in the 1980s and loved it. Singing the cover was enjoyable, and I hope you enjoy it as well.
