Hello everyone 😊, here's a new composition for the viola that I created some time ago.

When I was younger, I was very interested in history, wars, significant events, and recently, I came across a story that deeply affected me.
This story is about the Ohka, the kamikaze cherry blossom...
I find this aspect of war very moving, and I wanted to share it with you along with my music. I hope you enjoy and are touched by this video.
I also recommend watching the short film "The Cockpit 2," from which most of the images in the video are taken. It tells the story much better. This short film is truly poignant.
In my upcoming videos, I plan to increasingly associate my compositions with stories that I'd like to convey. I think it will often be about war in general or connected to strong feelings and emotions.
Haha, I apologize for the wrong notes. There was a particularly challenging passage on the viola due to the high notes. I guess I'm silly for composing things like that ^^

August 2025 marks 80 years since Japan surrendered in World War II, ending the Pacific War. In this episode of Japan Today Spotlight, we look at how Japan is commemorating the anniversary — from the Hiroshima and Nagasaki memorials to the emperor’s visits, the comfort women issue, and the controversy around Yasukuni Shrine.
