On May 1, International Workers Day, several hundred students, workers and other community activists marched from the SUNY Central Administration buildings in downtown Albany to the State Controller’s office and then to the state capitol. The protestors called for the SUNY Administration to support the free speech rights of all students, including those supporting Palestinians and called for SUNY to divest from Israel. They also called for State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli not to renew $50 million in Israeli bonds that just expired. Algeria may be the latest target in efforts to garner further Arab recognition of the Jewish state, despite its Gaza war conduct and rejection of Palestinian national aspirations.
To that end, a Philadelphia-based far-right pro-Israeli organisation, the Middle East Forum, has put Algeria in its crosshairs in an apparent attempt to build pressure on the North African state to establish diplomatic relations with Israel.

We four fun-lovin’ brothers (Johnny, Joey, Dee Dee and Tchad) had a reputation to uphold. The last name Leper meant something on our street. 

And now that the four of us are all grown up (more or less), we’ve returned to offer you these mischievous musical treasures of obstreperousness we’ve brewed up. We really hope you’ll be offended. And that you’ll hate us. And that you’ll soon be saying: “Oh, those Obstreperous Lepers!” every time you see us coming down the street in your direction.
