He's a Scots-Canadian poet turned folk sing-songwriter and all these aspects seem good to us. His song's narrator - perhaps its writer too - was born (at midnight) on a Wednesday and by a coincidence we also recorded it on one. 

This chirpy blend was recorded in one take and the radio news framing it was the BBC's dawn broadcast for that day (Wednesday May 24.) This makes it a collector's item, probably due to the fact that we've been practising this more or less daily since November.
