Now Phil Harris is not your conventional music producer and DJ. If you’re on social, I bet you have seen him dropping loads of really useful DJ tips and tricks. I got in touch with him a few weeks back and he graciously sent me his entire catalogue of songs and so, to pay it forward, I took a selection of them and recorded a mix and here we go!

He definitely has a style and passion for Brazilian tech house and this is evident in this mix. This mix was a lot of fun and a cool reminder to me to sometimes just kick back and enjoy some party music!

The A-Side 'GDamn' really had us groovin' with a stank face when we first heard it. The attitude in the vocal, the slapping bassline, the driving drums.. a perfect combo for some Bread -N- Butter! His B-Side is a nod to the old school but keeping that new school energy. This bassline feeling like the early days of deep G House, the percussion keep the track grooving and lets the lead and to the vocals stay down and dirty. Yamaa, welcome to Bread -N- Butter.
