About Shaun Strudwick:

Shaun Strudwick’s journey through the world of progressive house music has spanned decades, with roots tracing back to the early 1990s. A dedicated enthusiast of hypnotic rhythms and enchanting melodies, Shaun’s love for the genre has only grown stronger with time. After a break in the 2000s to focus on family, he reconnected with his passion and, in 2016, launched his own radio show, Quarks & Quaaludes- an Epic House Journey. This program, airing on Saturo Sounds Radio, has become a haven for deep melodic progressive vibes, showcasing tracks that stir the mind, body, and soul.

Quarks & Quaaludes airs every fourth Saturday of the month, offering a global audience a curated selection of progressive house that has helped introduce up-and-coming artists while featuring seasoned talents who have gone on to achieve remarkable success. Shaun’s role as A&R Manager at Saturo Sounds Radio has been instrumental in elevating the station’s presence, expanding its roster with both emerging talents and established names from across the globe.

Shaun’s influence continues to grow with his latest endeavour, Synthetic Dreams, a fresh chapter on the prestigious Proton Radio. This new show airs on the first Monday of every month and promises to captivate listeners with a refined selection of deep, evocative sounds.

With his unrelenting passion for progressive house and a keen ear for discovering talent, Shaun Strudwick remains a respected figure, continuously pushing boundaries and nurturing the next generation of artists.

About Astrek:

Melbourne-based DJ and producer Archie Sweeney, known as Astrek, has carved a niche in the city’s electronic music scene with his emotive and dynamic sound. Beginning his DJ journey fresh out of high school in 2016, Archie teamed up with his best friend Dion Paola, reviving Dion’s early start behind the decks. Together, they founded Wolftrax in 2018, a progressive house duo dedicated to pushing musical boundaries and creating captivating soundscapes for their audience.

Astrek’s sets and unique sound have been shaped by Melbourne’s rich electronic scene and the energetic festivals that sparked his passion for music. His blend of deep, atmospheric, and driving beats has led him to play at some of Melbourne’s top venues like the iconic Revolver Melbourne and at Bloc Festival in Bright. Alongside his solo work, he’s had the privilege of supporting prominent names like DJ Koze, Stephan Bodzin, Double Touch, Simon Vuarambon, and GMJ & Matter, establishing his place among the city's progressive house talents.

In 2022, Archie took the plunge into production, releasing tracks through respected labels such as AH Digital, Ugenius, Future Avenue, and Aviary Recordings. With a steady stream of unreleased music and collaborations on the horizon, Astrek is dedicated to crafting sets that captivate the dance floor, drawing listeners into a journey of emotive grooves and intricate sound production.
