Towards the end of my life in Ohio, Cydona Rise (my band at the time) was on the decline. Still, we pushed on. We wanted to release an EP called, "Auto-Tune This!" It was kind of thumbing our nose in the air and a jab at what everyone was doing around us. Always using auto-tune, over-production and a lot synth and whatnot. We had lost a battle of the bands to the Twenty One Pilots (yes, true story) and I think I was just pissed because there was so much synth and programming and we were a three-piece Rock Band. 

I was handling writing, vocals and guitar and Shawn was working on drums, while Tony was slapping the bass. I was very much the Dave Grohl guy (still am). I just wanted Rock to be some people playing their instruments live and meaning it. So, "Auto-Tune This!" was like the middle finger in the air to those bands. Some of which I know love and adore. 

One of the tracks on this EP was, "Keyholes." It turns out it is one of my favorites. It's alternative and funky, the drum parts really entertain me and the keys and bottles at the end of the song were sort of my tribute to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Soundgarden. 

The lyrics are straight up and exactly what I was going through at the time, and still do! It doesn't matter what advice someone gives me or if they have been through it, I just won't listen. I have to learn the lesson myself. If it's in my mind and I want to do it... I do it. If the result is great, then good... if not, well then at least I know and can testify to it first hand. I have to learn everything myself no matter if people are trying to help. That's the chorus. 

"Keyholes," pertains to the fact that I will go through any door life opens for me. Some of the doors that are closed and locked, well, I will kick them down. And so on and so on... It's not always the easiest way to do things in life but what I can tell you is that I have NO REGRETS because of this. Everything I have said and done is true and it speaks volumes to me that I can testify to it from experience, head-on.

Andreas travelled around the United States solo and with his rock bands writing and playing his songs while creating a coast-to-coast reputation and fanbase with his authentic, genuine voice. 

Over the last twenty years he has claimed a spot in the open-minded, wonderful music scene with his groups SIX HOUR RIDE and CYDONA RISE. Now, forging a new road with his solo act, Andreas and the Revolving Riot.

Accomplishing many national and local feats, including self-releasing acclaimed albums, "Paint" with SIX HOUR RIDE and, “Interpretation of Ego” with CYDONA RISE (both available on iTunes). Radio play (Including CD101 & KROQ, various college station rotations, streaming platforms) and touring, consistently all across the country. 

His latest and permanent endeavor, Andreas & The Revolving Riot, is solo work focused on entertaining people, playing some of his popular, original songs, fan favorite cover renditions and introducing NEW MUSIC always! 

The Revolving Riot are the hooligans who play with Andreas at any given time. There are many solo shows, however, band performances as well, pianos, strings, guitars, drums, bass, essentially, whatever the evening and the message calls for. The Revolving Riot is the revolving door of talented musicians who join Andreas on stage and celebrate the songs of this young, experienced, authentic Singer-Songwriter. 

Andreas has amazing storytelling abilities and they come out demanding to be heard! With his acoustic, Americana approach, he still finds a way to fuse his Alternative Rock n' Roll days into the latest tunes... making for one hell of an experience. With age comes wisdom and the creativity endlessly flows on.
