He has a 10 year history of community building, educational programs, and ecosystem restoration. They are the first urban Ecosystem Restoration Community (ERC) [https://www.ecosystemrestorationcommunities.org/], a global network, and have incubated projects such as the Hollywood Orchard [https://www.hollywoodorchard.org/], the Soil Sponge Collective [https://www.soilspongecollective.org/], the Band of Singers, Water Stories [https://www.waterstories.com/] and Replant the Forest Festival. They have nurtured relationships with Tongva-Gabrielino providing cultural bridges and learning opportunities. They’ve hosted the LA Permaculture Academy and offer hands-on opportunities on the ‘mosaic’ of parcels they’ve stewarded throughout various communities. Their latest project is a planned regenerative farm and intentional community along the Santa Clara River north of Los Angeles.




Jack Eidt is an urban planner, environmental journalist, and climate organizer, as well as award-winning fiction writer. Le parcours de Jean-Luc Dubigny n'a pas été semé de roses. Cela ne l'a pas empêché de devenir pasteur et de connaître une sorte de résurrection.
Il avait décidé de suivre le Christ à l'âge de dix ans et rêvait dès lors de "travailler pour Dieu". Jean-Luc Dubigny a vécu une sorte de résurrection en devant pasteur au fil d'un parcours semé d'embûches et de circonstances douloureuses. Né dans une famille où ses deux parents souffraient d'alcoolisme, le jeune garçon a été ensuite placé en famille d'accueil. "J'ai un peu grandi tout seul et je me suis construit pas mal de barrières pour me protéger des agressions extérieures", raconte Jean-Luc qui, d'ailleurs, aura à faire face à lui-même et apprendra à exprimer ses émotions, notamment après avoir perdu ses parents décédés à quelques semaines d'intervalle en 2010.
Il ouvrira une nouvelle page de sa vie en s'installant dans la région du Jura bernois, comme pasteur dans le Part8, un syndicat de paroisses de l'église réformée évangélique du canton de Berne. Ce père de deux garçons développe aussi un grand intérêt pour la permaculture humaine, dont les principes de base -prendre soin de soi, des autres et de la terre- le rejoignent totalement dans sa vocation. Jean-Luc aime le mot résurrection, terme certes liée à sa foi dans le Christ, mais aussi parce qu'il considère avoir lui-même vécu une sorte de résurrection après avoir traversé de grandes difficultés. "Pour moi, la résurrection, c'est la vie pleine de vie, aujourd'hui même. Pas seulement dans un paradis futur...".
