The world is a little less now. We lost Dorothy Fallows on Sunday, December 15th, 2024, to complications from breast cancer. Dottie was vivacious, fun-loving, intelligent, dedicated to her work, beautiful, a scientist, a lover of opera and serious music, and a loving sister and aunt. The piece begins in F# minor. I ended the piece on an A-chord, which Beethoven said was the happiest key because Dottie brought happiness to people she cared about and people she met along the way.
