Hesiod derives Aphrodite from the ancient Greek word aphrós, signifying the sea foam from which the goddess of beauty emerged into life. My music explores the alluring dichotomy of this bubbling froth, for its effervescence belies the furtive terrors from the abyss: bubbles engender the shimmering charm on the surface, yet also serve as a gurgling harbinger of what lurks beneath it.

This gamut collage of sonic mimesis for prepared piano and electric guitar is a direct result of my rigorous process of experimentation, recording, and cataloging of interesting timbres. Aleatoric vignettes from Emerging Aphrodite foreground the ebb and flow of sound, whose image is subsequently altered through ping–pong balls, vibrating devices, textiles, player actions, and live electronics. The three players explore their instruments just like sailors traversed the seas on their ships, cradled by the beguiling vastness of the foaming waves, blithely unaware of what prowls within the depths...

Elle souhaite aussi s’appuyer sur et mettre en valeur ses associations sportives, et leurs nombreux bénévoles, sans qui rien ne serait possible.

« Le Défi du 30 » va dans ce sens et, tous les 30 du mois, un podcast donne la parole à une association brévinoise qui évoquera son sport et ses bienfaits.

❓​ Pourquoi le 30 ? Pour rappeler l’importance, aux jeunes notamment, de pratiquer 30 minutes d’activité physique quotidienne.

Bröderna Snusk är födda och uppvuxna i Bergsåker, en förort till Sundsvall, är en dynamisk musikkonstellation som består av två bröder, Deras resa från undre världens gangster musik till festmusik och rock har gjort dem till en ikonisk del av den svenska musikscenen.

Tiden med Gangster Musik

Bröderna Snusk började sin musikaliska karriär med att skapa gangster musik, influerade av den hårda verkligheten i Bergsåker. Deras texter speglade livet på gatan med allt vad det innebar av utmaningar och faror. Med råa och ärliga berättelser, lyckades de skapa en stark följarskara bland ungdomar som kunde relatera till deras budskap.

Övergång till Festmusik och Rock

Efter flera år som framträdande artister inom gangster genren, beslutade bröderna sig för att ändra riktning. Inspirationen till denna förändring kom från deras växande intresse för livets ljusare sidor och glädjen de fann i att festa.
