Happy to let you hear my latest Dj sets, recorded in the splendid natural reserve of the Marano lagoon, in the middle of uncontaminated nature that offers a home to numerous species of birds and fishes, where among the sandbanks stand the so-called "Casoni", the typical cane and wood buildings once used by fishermen both as storage and as a place of shelter and rest between one fishing trip and another.

I am 75% Water.
When I was a baby I was even 90% Water.

Reconnect with the essence of life -
be grateful and conscious and keep the circle clean.

Water connects - water conducts.

For this composition we used field recordings of water and nature in different forms. Sounds of the daily life, rains and thunderstorms, water sprinklers, beach sounds, plastic sounds...

We played with this recordings by using water similar effects and filters.

We also used water itself to create sounds.
The MIDI Controller Playtronica allows you to play digital instruments through water.

With this piece of sound we want to show -
water is life and we need to build a big gratitude and consciousness for the essence - the circle - of life.

multidisciplinary self-taught artist, in deep connection with nature, the mystique of life and an insatiable curiosity to integrate new concepts and techniques to express his creative universe.

The new technologies applied to music and sound design have led him to experiment with greater freedom in the immense sound world, exploring the field of Biodata (biosonification), generative music and texture design, and electro-conductivity like this, the composition of songs where the fusion of styles is the primary premise that inspires him. Moving between the genres ambient, world, dowtempo, techno, soundscape and the experimental has found ways where to stay anchored in them, is not an option. Enjoy outdoor recording, and the creation of his own sound tools (noisebox) in his Lab-studio located in a mountain house in a small town in the Basque Country, in northern Spain. He has been part of artistic projects, performances, live music and has participated in educational events where the cimatica (form of sound), the frequencies and the relationship between life and them, have been the fundamental pillar.

Disfruta de la grabación en exteriores, y de la creación de sus propias herramientas sonoras ( noisebox ) en su Lab-studio ubicado en una casa de montaña en un pequeño pueblo de país vasco , al norte de España. AYO is the solo project of danish composer, producer and sound artist Julie Schønherr Rosengreen.
AYO has been touring all over Europe since 2015. She has been playing in Morocco and The United States.
Some of the festivals she performed at includes Boom Festival, Ozora Festival, Freqs of Nature festival, Anthropos, Hadra and The Rendezvous - Tipper&Friends in Florida.
She has been performing for The Danish National Bank, at the beautiful Thorvaldsens Museum in Copenhagen, composed music for the theater play “Anna Walk With Me” and currently she is working both with installation art and performance art, making interactive and generative sound with plants, water and the human body. 
In 2020 she released her debut album Moto on Sofa Beats records. This was followed by several single & compilation releases on labels like Microcosmos records, Altar records and the danish female label SØNTH collective.
Her second album is soon due for release.

AYO strives to send a message of a more harmonious cohesion with nature, with each other and with ourselves. By incorporating nature elements into her performance, she tries to give nature back the voice it has lost. Giving the listener a chance to emphasise with it, by letting plants and water generate the sounds they hear, in an always evolving and generative pattern, which makes every performance new and unique.
Combining that with playing live hardware synths and her classical influenced compositions, the listener is presented with an experience of nature meeting electronics and the deeper emotional self -floating in to a world of dreamy and melodic soundscapes, dynamic pads, processed foleys and recorded ambience.
AYO has been playing and composing music since she was a child. With a background as a violinist and as a classical musician, the ambient genre was later a place where she felt at home and where she could express and unfold herself freely. 
She has a bachelor degree in electronic music and sound art from The Danish National Academy of Music. Here she has honed her expression and further developed her "voice" in order to be able to stand stronger with her message and vision.
