Drifter is a living, breathing FX suite that can add interest to any kind of audio. At its core, a myriad of evolving modulators create subtle, organic shifts in tone and texture. Emulate the gentle pitch wobble of a classic analog synth, or the natural nuances of a real-life performer. Drifter brings that same elusive, human feel to your productions.
Whether you're crafting atmospheric pads, giving life to percussion, or warming up digital instruments, Drifter delivers musical, unscripted movement to completely  reanimate your sounds. 

Bold Changes and Subtle Shifts

Beyond its ability to add delicate nuance to audio, Drifter is a versatile creative tool designed to push the character of your tracks in new directions. From the gentle pitch imperfections of an old tape machine to a wider, more pronounced wobble that captures the nostalgic feel of lo-fi recordings and vintage gear. Quickly emulate the unique essence of analog synths and worn-out vinyl. Push the settings further to generate a sense of groove, turning predictable loops into pulsating playgrounds. Stack up the modulations: Craft a gentle frequency shift, add gritty saturation, and push harmonics to the max. Drifter offers a complete spectrum of motion that feels completely musical.

Central Intelligence

At the heart of Drifter is a central control that’s tied to many different parameters under the hood. This makes it easy to get your audio drifting and shifting in double-quick time. Dial in the Depth to control how much modulation is applied globally. Adjust the Speed to set the rate of movement. Beneath these, dedicated sliders let you fine tune exactly how much modulation is applied to each target, giving you surgical control over audio transformations. 

Naturally Creative

The bottom half of the interface contains individual controls for both Natural and Creative parameter shifting: Natural emulates the subtle oscillations of analog gear. Creative shifts things up a notch, introducing bolder changes to your sound. 
- Natural: Level, Pan, Pitch, and Tone (EQ). These parameters breathe organic life, adding the warmth and unpredictability of acoustic performance and analog circuitry.
- Creative: Phase (all pass filter), Shift (frequency), Shape (harmonics), and Filter (HP and LP). These open up access to more experimental territory, introducing unusual processing and evolving mutations.
