A night in Sapporo meets handheld synthesizers: Konnichiwa and welcome back, Tim & Puma Mimi! The quirky Swiss-Japanese electro duo have returned! The first single «Blanket (Susukino Version)» (RELEASE: 13.12.2024 via A Tree In A Field Records) from the upcoming album «More or Less Tim & Puma Mimi» (RELEASE: 18.04.2025) revolves around the relationship of a night owl to its lost Swatch Susukino watch. Pocket Operator synthesizer and acoustic drum form a Gameboy soundtrack in colour, over which the vocoder's voice moves like a video game character. A mind game that can certainly rob you of sleep, can't it? Perfect for listening to the piece in a continuous loop and exploring Mimi's hometown of Sapporo including the Susukino Crossing.

Tim & Puma Mimi are a Swiss-Japanese duo from Zurich and Tokyo. Their music can be heard in the Hollywood remake of «Ghost in the Shell» and the Netflix series «Good Girls», among others. Boris Blank (Yello) is a fan, and the band has also been regularly featured by major Swiss daily newspapers such as Tages-Anzeiger or NZZ. Concerts have taken place at well-known festivals such as Berlin Popkomm, Paleo Festival, Sonar Barcelona or Montreux Jazz Festival. The duo also invented their own synthesizer, called Fruitilyzer, which makes it possible to generate sounds with fruits or vegetables. After an absence of seven years, «More or Less Tim & Puma Mimi» is the fifth album and will be released on 18.04.2025 via A Tree In A Field Records.
