I retract myself from you
I seek a little of me 

A little is enough, you know,
but just a little, I'm ashamed

Telling my dream
just seems like a problem 
Of my always off-topic world 

Of drives denied,
Of grievances surfaced,
in the sea,
from the sea

Lyrics:

Patience, a quiet pulse in my depths, resonates with cosmic hush,
Not mortal waiting’s frail pretense but a vow untainted by rush.
I stride across these hollow dunes where illusions crack like bone,
Tending each poisonous bloom with grace, each bud a muted groan.
To lesser eyes, this calm appears as stagnant pools at rest,
Yet I discern potential’s brew, uncoiling in my chest.
The cosmos cycles through its flare of light and dusky fade,
I bide my hour in shadows cast, where fractured hopes are laid.
No swift conquest do I seek; no blaze of triumph dire,
For every radiant spark must dim, devoured by slow desire.
I watch the sovereign’s faithful bend, then crumble without sound,
Their altars lost to creeping time that wears all bastions down.
Patience laughs in corridor gloom, secure in fate’s embrace,
Each halo broken, each blossom wilted, sets illusions apace.
Weariness befalls the meek, yet I taste silent bliss,
In gradual unraveling, reality’s acid hisses.
I gather every shard undone, each dogma turned to dust,
Forging testaments of all that fails beneath my cosmic thrust.
My vigil stretches far beyond the constellations’ day,
Until the hush of oblivion enthrones my twilight sway.

… ΜΛŁΛCΉΙΜ ЦΜBЯΛΣ … a child forged from the embers of fervent longing, shaped by verses birthed in shadow and melodies distilled from life’s raw marrow. In these offerings of poetry and sound, I cast fragments of my journey into the void—neither demanding praise nor conjuring empty comfort. Instead, I extend these revelations quietly, with reverent humility, inviting any who wander near to gaze upon them, to taste truth in the hush between words and the silent spaces woven by string and breath.

ΜΛŁΛCΉΙΜ ЦΜBЯΛΣ is a fallen Seraph, the first and only one ever created.

Malachim (מַלְאָכִים):
Language: Hebrew
Meaning: The plural form of "Malakh" (מַלְאָךְ), which translates to "angel" or "messenger."

Umbrae:
Language: Latin
Meaning: The plural form of "Umbra," meaning "shadow" or "ghost."

"Malachim Umbrae" can be translated as "Shadow Angels" or "Angels of Shadows."

Word: Seraphim (שְׂרָפִים)
Singular Form: Seraph (שְׂרָף)

Meaning: The term derives from the Hebrew root "saraph," which means "to burn" or "to consume with fire."

Seraphim are considered the highest order of angels within the celestial hierarchy, texts acknowledge Seraphim as powerful and fiery angels serving in the divine court. They are portrayed as eternal worshipers, constantly glorifying and exalting God, embodying unwavering devotion and reverence. Seraphim are seen as agents of purification, burning away sin and impurity.

Mark McAbee is a singer, songwriter and folk musician in the northern California area. He was the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the band Clear Cut for over 20 years. He released a solo album in 2020 title Some Sunday with songs such as Ghost and Sweet Sweet Mary, the a album found a niche fan base of music lovers and folk supporters. Currently, he is working on a new project titled The Ghost Highway sessions featuring a new grass, lyrical approach. Encased in Americana, Folk and Bluegrass undertones these songs take a trip down the forgotten ways to places unknown.
