‘Help Us Find The Groove’ is a concept plunderphonics album in which the concept is in the title itself; What is my signature sound? 

It’s a personal expression of my experimentation of sampling from various different sources, but also sampling from my interest in improvisation and even some of my own recordings and previous tracks. Overall, it’s conveying the struggles of an artist finding their own sound, even if I’ve personally feel that I’ve found it!

Had to re-upload due to some glitches and I added some more vocal samples! Here's a deep remix of my favourite film, 'Isle of Dogs' (2018) by Wes Anderson, remixed entirely out of sounds, dialogue and vocals from the film and samples from it's soundtrack.

I've put off remixing this film in the past for a while and I finally decided to pull the trigger and give it one last try; and I'm very pleased with how it's turned out.

When working with the vocals, I wanted to make sure the character's speaking Japanese came out as clear as possible. Inspired by Wes' visual style, I decided to mirror his symmetrical visual style with a C pedal in the bass all throughout the track (apart from the last chorus).

This fun track was composed using samples from various movies and samples from the Playstation 1 game, 'Music 2000'. For this track, I set myself a challenge to sample as many films as possible for a remix.

On the other hand, limiting myself to using samples from 'Music 2000' also creates a conflict of the unlimited vocal samples that have been used here as well; almost creating a push and pull of limited and unlimited possibilities.

Inspired by the soundtrack to 'Sonic Mania'; here's a 90's remix of 'The Sonic The Hedgehog Movie' OVA from 1996.

Composed using samples from the film's soundtrack, vocals, dialogue and also composed with samples from 'Sonic Adventure 2', 'Sonic Heroes', 'Sonic R' The Original classics from the SEGA Genesis; and a sneaky Jamiroquai sample! Also composed with extra synthesisers, drum machines, slap bass and way too many jazz chords.
