Who ordered Pepperoni? Here’s a crazy and experimental remix of ‘TMNT Mutant Mayhem’. To truly test my skills, I decided to only use sounds from the film. Much like the mutant creatures that star in the film, the track is a mutation of many different styles of electronic music. I was inspired by the film’s gritty asthetic and I decided to channel it in unique jazz voicings inspired by artists like Knower, Button Masher and Sungazer.

Well Now is comprised of samples sent by some friends on Discord. Originally the solo was recorded on an electric ukulele, but it was heavily edited. I later re-learned how to play it on guitar and I felt it was more visually pleasing for when I was making the video The video was heavily inspired by Pogo’s video for his track ‘Wizard Of Meh’ with the edited lip-syncing. Special thanks to  my friends Efryo, Kate, Eclixie and Digital Garden  for the samples, the laughs and for taking part in the video.

This acoustic instrumental track was composed using a lot of string instruments as a contrast to the electronic textures of the rest of the album. I was definitely tapping into some Pat Metheny/Lyle Mays vibes with this one!

Blistering Barnacles! Tintin was always a big part of my childhood with its memorable characters and incredible artwork. Great Snakes is a fun experimental remix of the series which had everyone saying 'All's Well That Ends Well' to me after I released the track earlier last year!

initially made this a couple hours after my birthday after finding a multi-channel rip of search for squarepants as a test to see if i could do any better with remixing movies than my attempts from a few years ago. didn't touch it up until tonight though, and im likely not gonna work on it beyond this point due to both a lack of ideas and severe motivation loss

'Reflection' is a remix of the recent animatied film, 'Flow'. Everything you hear in the track was sampled from the film. 

This movie had so much charm that I knew I had to sample it and turn it into an original remix. I was inspired by the ambiguous visual storytelling and how it leads audiences to theorise it's meaning.

Because of the lack of dialogue, I decided to take the ambitious approach to sample the natural animal's calls as if they were ordinary vocal samples.

To celebrate 12 years since I released my first track as 'The Artful Dodger Project', I present a revisited remix of 'Howling', a remix of the animated film 'Alpha And Omega' (2010).

Even if the film's animation and visuals haven't aged well; the film is still very sample-able and I think it still works in the plunderphonics style. I even sampled the drums and synths from the original version which I still cringe at. In a way, it's a testament to how far I've come in my journey of learning about mixing and creating electronic music. I've still got stuff to learn and I'm discovering along the way. Here's to the next musical discovery!
