Did a version of "Automatic" by the Pointer Sisters. I really love the Lake Street Dive version of this song. Fun to play this with my nephews. 

Automatic (RM) 3-2-25 v1.5

Tried a version of the Pointer Sisters' song "Automatic" from the early 1980s. Inspired by the version done by Lake Street Dive live on the street in Boston. Those guys are monster musicians and it was fun to try one of their songs. WT on drums makes the groove!

Automatic (WTJB) 4-17-25 v1.2

WT on drums and me on Telecaster, getting after yet one more version of "Automatic". My inspiration is the Lake Street Dive version live outside somewhere in Boston. Damn, those guys are cool. Anyway, we tried.

A version of the Pointer Sisters song "Automatic". I heard this as a kid but I got inspired to play it by hearing the Lake Street Dive cover of the song. WT provided cool brush drums. 

Automatic (WTJB) 6-5-25

Acoustic guitar; folk; Americana; jam band influences; blues; rock; old time; bluegrass; grungey stuff. Even some electro and EDM vibes occasionally. I play a wide mix of music with a lot of different people.

Drawing inspiration from artists like PAWSA, Mau P, Fred Again, Max Styler, and Fatboy Slim, his productions blend groove-heavy rhythms with club-ready energy—designed for movement and connection on the dance floor.

This is forward-thinking electronic music, made for now.
