This week on Full Circle we will hear about three days of actions centering on the antioch police and the mounting text message scandal. On tonight’s show we’ll hear an update on a court case where the Racial Justice Act is being applied by attorneys. We’ll also hear an in depth interview with the family of Angelo Quinto as they prepare to launch the Angelo Quinto Foundation with an event called “End The Cover Up- Excited Delirium. We’ll also get an update on where and when local actions will be happening next week

Together, they discuss what it means to shift priorities from punishment to prevention, and why reimagining public safety is essential to building a truly just and healthy society.

Members of First Voice Media produce, write, host, and engineer Full Circle, a cultural affairs radio magazine which showcases personal views, interviews, feature stories, and live performances from our community. Airing on Friday at 7pm on KPFA 94.1, all content comes from members of First Voice Media and reaches all across northern and central California.

I’m an activist and critical criminologist living in Ottawa with an interest in social justice, human rights, and anti-oppression. My tracks are typically interviews from local media. I do this as a method of public criminology and knowledge sharing to ensure transformative actions and based on lived experience and academic knowledge.
