I’ve always lived at the crossroads of music and poetry — where feeling becomes form, and melody turns memory into meaning. Whether it’s a lingering jazz note, a well-placed rhyme, or a shift in tempo that tells a deeper story, I’m drawn to that quiet magic where art reflects life with a little more style.

My roots are in classic music — the kind that doesn’t chase the moment but lingers with you long after the last note. Over time, that love expanded into poetry writing and jazz — especially the kind that swings, speaks, and smirks all at once. Jazz, to me, isn’t just a genre; it’s a personality. A conversation. A little tilt of the head and a grin that knows more than it says.

When I set out to create an album, it’s rarely just a collection of songs. I approach it like a personal playlist — one that drifts and flows as if the entire tracklist were one long, uninterrupted piece. Each track leans into the next, shifting mood, pace, or voice, but always carrying the same thread of feeling. I want you to listen the way I do — not as a shuffle of moments, but as a cinematic arc. One breath that lasts an hour.

Lyrically, my work is rooted in lived experience. Sometimes it’s obvious. Other times it’s just the skeleton of a memory, dressed up in wit, irony, or longing. I draw from real-life events, then let the poet in me twist, stretch, or sweeten them to taste. Depending on the tone of the album — playful, romantic, nostalgic, or something in between — I try to keep the emotional truth intact while giving it a fresh coat of creativity. A little humor where it fits. A deeper dive where it hurts.

My newest jazz album continues this tradition — short-lined swing tracks, conversational duets, and tongue-in-cheek storytelling. It’s an homage to late-night alleyway ballads, rooftop serenades, and train station goodbyes — all bound together with a sense of charm and cohesion. Each song is its own little scene, but together they tell a story — one you can revisit with each replay.

RICH'S is an African rapper based in Québec, Canada. His music style blends electric hip-hop vibes with elements of African culture, including the use of native African languages.
Specifically, its song "Moua", “Super-hero”, feature a chorus in the Nguemba language.
RICH'S aims to celebrate personal development, family, and cultural heritage through his music.

Basilio Montes, nacido en la localidad manchega de Herencia (C. Real)  el 20/04/55 es un compositor, músico y cantante español con una larga trayectoria profesional, respaldada por 40 álbumes editados, 26 de ellos en solitario. 

Trayectoria que se remonta a 1980 a Alicante, donde junto a Carlos Goñi formó la que sería su primera banda: Garage (1980 / 84)  con Ramoncín colaboró desde 1984  al  2000. En ese periodo y en paralelo a su trabajo con el artista madrileño formó entre Madrid y Alicante "El Club de la Noche" (1985 / 91) y "The Satellites" (1989 / 91) y junto a Elena Tovar (en Madrid) la que sería su última banda: The Privados (1991 / 95)

Como compositor ha escrito canciones con Ramoncín, Manolo Tena, Juanma Roldán o Carlos Goñi entre otros, y podemos encontrar su nombre en distintos trabajos discográficos junto a músicos y artistas internacionales como Brian May (Queen), Jerry Marotta (Cher, Paul McCartney, Carly Simon …) Gary Barnacle (Tina Turner, Kim Wilde, The Clash …) o Vic Coppersmith Heaven (Cat Stevens, The Jam, Black Sabbath …)

Como productor promotor de espectáculos fue el fundador de la productora Box Music (1995/2000) y de su marca registrada el Circuito Nacional de Música en Vivo, con cientos de producciones realizadas por toda la geografía española, con artistas como: Rosendo,   Los Rodriguez,   Los Suaves,   Def Con Dos,   La Polla,   Extremoduro,   Vargas Blues Band,   Los Enemigos,   Burning...

Desde 1998 sigue su carrera en solitario produciendo y publicando tanto temas propios, como versiones personalizadas de clásicos de la música pop y rock española e internacional.

INFO: Middle aged music maker (and recreational drummer) from the middle of Franconian nowhere arranging music for open minded music lovers who (like me) don't want to listen to the same (kind of) music all/every day - way too boring (or even annoying).

So you'll find all kinds of stuff here, from Space Jazz to Hip Hop, from Synthpop to Triphop, from Folk to Doom, from here to there, from then to now, and many things in between - except for "pure" EDM / Techno / Trance, not my cup of tea. :P 

Many tracks tend towards "alternative pop". Well, if you don't like a song/genre - just skip it! I won't mind...  ;)

P.S.: Before you ask: I (almost) never start with the vocals, asking myself: what strange things could I make with those?

Instead I start making strange music THEN look for some vocal parts that might fit. You'd be surprised how often you get a "match" the moment you throw those in the mix. Well, sometimes it needs a little tweaking... ;)
