De veertiende aflevering van het vierde seizoen van Cinepraatjes, de podcast van Cinemaatjes. JP was naar De Efteling geweest en is dus ook in de nieuwe attractie ‘Danse Macabre’ geweest. We staan even stil bij het aankomende Winter BUT Festival in Breda. We hebben het nog even over de nieuwe tier op onze Patreon-pagina, die we toch anders gaan opzetten. Uiteraard is Marino er ook weer met een nieuw sonnet, maar raden we het dit keer wel? William heeft de HBO-serie ‘The Penguin’ gezien en wil dat kort even bespreken. JP zag de nieuwe horrorfilm met Halle Berry ‘Never Let Go’. William kon na het zien van een film deze niet loslaten en besloot deze toch maar eens op BluRay te kopen en keek ‘m ook meteen en bespreekt deze ook meteen. Het is de geweldige film ‘Possession’ uit 1981 en JP zag ook een film met Isabelle Adjani, eigenlijk twee verschillende versie ervan nl. ‘Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht’. We trokken de DVD ‘The Awful Dr. Orlof’ uit de kast, die William niet heeft gezien en JP vond het wel wat. In onze Special doen we eigenlijk wat we voor de vorige podcast al hadden voorbereid. Een Special die vaker kan terugkomen. We kozen nl. willekeurig een jaartal tussen 1970 en 2020 en deze eerste keer hebben we het over het filmjaar 1991 met o.a. onze top 10. Ook beantwoorden we weer vragen van luisteraars over niet-kerstfilms die wel een kerstsfeertje kunnen gebruiken, het verschil tussen remakes en reboots, maskers & helmen, acteurs waarvan de hele filmografie mag worden gewist en wat we zouden doen tijdens een ‘Purge’. Veel luisterplezier!

Dr. Mat, alias Labate Matteo, è un DJ italiano con radici nella scena techno berlinese, attivo dal 2015. Il suo debutto avviene nell’after di punta di Pescara, il leggendario Terzo Cerchio (oggi Club 011), per poi affermarsi nei principali club della zona, tra cui l’Underground, il mastodontico Cantieri, e il Discospin, epicentro degli after ufficiali del Warehouse teramano.

Dal 2020, il suo sound si è evoluto verso l’Hard Techno francese, caratterizzato da ritmi serrati, suoni acidi e incursioni hardcore. Nei suoi DJ set, Dr. Mat costruisce atmosfere intense, dove nell’oscurità dei suoni più duri emergono spiragli di luce attraverso voci evocative e melodie sinfoniche, trasformando ogni performance in un contrasto emotivo profondo.
