Monum is a solo darkwave/electronic/gothic music project based in Rome, Italy. Created as a personal exploration of shadow, sound, and solitude, Monum blends haunting melodies, cold synthesizers, and hypnotic rhythms to craft an atmosphere that is both cinematic and deeply intimate.
Drawing inspiration from the post-punk and darkwave scenes of the '80s, as well as contemporary electronic and gothic subcultures, Monum merges nostalgic textures with a modern, minimalist aesthetic. The music is drenched in emotional intensity—at times brooding, at times ethereal—echoing themes of isolation, memory, and the beauty of decay.

With all music, lyrics, and production handled solely by the artist, Monum is a self-contained vision: a sonic monument to the darker corners of the human experience.
