What if Detroit happened in Woensel?

This page explores a world where in the 80s suburban Woensel is injected by techno. It builds on a limited set of limited synthesizers to create a musical output in an imaginary style that flourishes in the 1992; incorporating elements of dub techno, microhouse and electro, pre-dating their modern maturity.

All of this music was produced in one messy room in Woensel by an unemployed individual that didn't see any daylight.

Acid Youth is a project started in 2016 by Davide Nicosia, an electronic music producer based in Bologna.

Under the influence of Chicago House, krautrock and EBM, Acid Youth is a blend of troubled basslines, guitars, modular freakness, frozen pads, analogic distortions and overdriven drum machines.
