hey! this week's track is a dark, futuristic wave track that lends a lot of influence from the more ethereal side of future garage. it contains relatively bright instrumentation, which contrasts with the moody pads that fill out the empty space. the vocals are drenched in reverb to give a somewhat dystopian tint to their arrangement. there's also a fast paced and rhythmic breakbeat section towards the end of the song that allows for a strong finish. hello! this week's EP has an r&b inspired chillout vibe, that has bright, emotional piano/guitar riffs that are layered deeply, along with beautiful female vocals that are arranged to reflect heartbreak. the first song has an almost gospel energy, intensified by progressive piano and string melodies towards the end of the track. the second has a more pop inspired vibe. 'Terrace Memory' is an ode to my 16-year-old self, dedicated to fond memories of my early days DJing in and around the South West of the UK. A monthly resident on Bristol radio station SWU.FM, as a DJ Parsons crafts sets with the same open mindedness brought to production, delivering seamless journeys informed by years spent in clubs and venues, on both sides of the stage.
