This was originally recorded at home on a 4-track cassette around 1984. for this version, I fed the original into sunoai's cover model and eventually came out with this one which models Gregg's voice and our guitars pretty closely. Gregg wrote the first verse and I built out the rest of the lyric from there.

Fact Is... (we once told a journalist the three dots were 'vital') played around the West Midlands in the mid eighties. Then at one fateful outdoor gig the lead singer's vocal cords collapsed mid-set and he shut the f*ck up for once. Surgery followed and that was that - until 2025. In March the original lineup got back together to record an album and perform a banging set in Birmingham. True, we look more like the cast of "Last Of The Summer Wine" these days than the beautiful things we once were, but hey, if you're not our age already, you soon will be. So suck it up. Anyway, we've still got it, we're told, and we'll be putting a string of dates together in September 2026. For fun - but isn't that what it's all about? Charlie Pink & The Bits craft French new wave/post-punk with an electro-pop/funk flair and a streak of noir romance. Full art direction, cinematic sound. Recent projects: HÉLYOTROPE (hybrid, intimate) and Néons sous les paupières (more electronic).

Blind Mime Music (ASCAP) is a Soundcloud for recordings of songs and music written by Briyan Frederick Baker (GAJOOB and Tapegerm Collective) and collaborators. Eventually songs will make their way onto Bandcamp albums and stream on all the usual outlets. Briyan has been making songs since junior and high school and these recordings contain 50+ years of material old and new. The music ranges from glitch pop to experimental.
