77 (2020), is the second movement of For Ash (2019-21), a short, three-movement work for solo piano dedicated to my friend, Ash Mistry. In contrast to some of my earlier piano music, there is greater focus on melodic design and variations in harmonic voicing and less on structural symmetry, balancing lyrical and systematic aspects. Each of the three movements explores a melodic line in two parallel voices, mostly in intervals of a third in the first movement and fourths in the other two.

On the Nature of Daylight (Piano Version)

This track began life as an extended outro to my other track “Une Barque Sur L’Océan - Bastardised” but, seeing more musical potential in the material than could be explored in a simple coda, I decided to pull this out into being a piece in its own right. Again working to repurpose Ravel’s ideas to portray the movement of the ocean in my own way, in this track I pushed my vision to fully exploit the saxophone’s capabilities further than ever before. The track features complex saxophone percussion as well as a triumphant sax-organ that defines the second half of the piece.

A Tokyo-based composer and architect, he has been running the record store Kankyo Records since 2021.
His ambient works have been released on international labels such as Where To Now? (UK), Not Not Fun (US), Dauw and Aguirre (Belgium), and White Paddy Mountain (Japan).
He is also active in the live unit UNKNOWN ME with Yakenohara, P-RUFF, and Yudai Osawa, and performs as a member of Atoris.
In 2024, he launched a new project called H TO O with Kohei Oyamada, his collaborator in Atoris. Their debut album Cycle was released on the UK label Wisdom Teeth.

“Unfaded” is an instrumental piece by Laumin that portrays a wish that never fades, suspended between moments of time. Featuring prayer-like piano and strings that shimmer like moonlight, the piece gently accompanies introspective and quiet hours. This is the third single from Laumin, a neoclassical project that depicts scenes of a dawn that never existed.

Fogo Corredor" is a hypnotic exploration of minimalist soundscapes, blending ambient textures with post-classical and electronic influences. Inspired by the works of Jóhann Jóhannsson, Sunn O))), and Vektroid, the track evolves around a central motif that morphs through layered arrangements—where acoustic introspection meets digital experimentation. Originally released in 2024, the composition was later expanded into a video art piece supported by Brazil’s Lei Paulo Gustavo, further deepening its meditative narrative. A gateway into Smhir’s forthcoming genre-defying album, arriving 2025.

Released under the iiP moniker, ‘SEN’ is the latest work by sound designer Setsuya KUROTAKI - a three-part composition shaped by field recordings, live instrumentation, and finely calibrated programming.

Constructed as a musical self-dialogue involving his alter-egos "Sebastian Kline" and "Nicolie Binara", the work examines the fluidity of sound materials and the emergence of emotion through the conceptual frames of “Sequence,” “Environment,” and “Neutral.”

Balancing restraint and organic layering, it can be read as a subtle disturbance of the boundary between interiority and environment.
