La dopamina è il neurotrasmettitore responsabile del piacere immediato e della ricompensa, ma regola anche i ritmi del sonno. Sembra che ne siamo diventati tutti dipendenti. Io onestamente ne bramo la capacità di farmi dormire, perché nelle notti insonni si vedono cose che sarebbe meglio liquidare come un brutto sogno. 
Nel testo si parla di coraggio per i nuovi inizi, del bisogno di coerenza con se stessi, della necessità di chiudere con le cose vecchie, tossiche, prima di intraprenderne di nuove.
2:22 di Ritmiche post punk alla Molchat Doma con i riff di synth e chitarra alla Kid Laroi. Una rassicurante e catartica nostalgia pervade il sound.

La dopamina è il neuro trasmettitore responsabile del piacere immediato e della ricompensa, ma
regola anche i ritmi del sonno. Sembra che ne siamo diventati tutti dipendenti. Io onestamente ne
bramo la capacità di farmi dormire, perché nelle notti insonni si vedono cose che sarebbe meglio
liquidare come un brutto sogno.
Il disco e il suo sound design sono strutturati per portarti dentro i grandi alti e bassi dell’assenza e
presenza della dopamina, tra vuoti drammatici e sub bass che prendono il sopravvento rispetto ai
tipici Rickenbacker dell’indie. Le batterie sono spezzate come se passassero attraverso un setaccio;
respirano, più IDM alla Burial che ballate alla Calcutta.
I synth si confondono coi suoni dei pianeti, o quelli che percepiamo come tali; ho amato Thom
Yorke, e credo che mi abbia insegnato lui questo. Le voci sono tante, sono quelle nella mia testa che
non mi lasciano mai in pace; sono assillanti ma anche compagnia, simpatiche, sprezzanti, ironiche,
distruttive, ma sempre presenti.
Gli ambienti sonori e i riverberi sono quelli della dreamcore, degli spazi liminali, e i sample sono
come in un collage, testimonianza di qualcosa di distante o non mio; ma lo voglio così tanto che alla
fine me lo prendo, anche a costo di rubarlo e metterlo fuori luogo. Niente è al posto giusto dentro di
me e bisogna fare con quello che si ha, per quanto contraddittorio e disfunzionale.
Nel disco ci sono feat. di lusso: Giorgio Canali, Maestro Pellegrini degli Zen Circus, Young
Signorino. Ci sono anche artisti emergenti: alcuni li ho prodotti, altri sono colleghi nello studio o
parte di scene più alternative.
Sono molto felice di questo lavoro, era urgente e non lo sapevo neppure.
