Why the name? Great ideas tend to surface in a hot bathtub — and this one stuck.

I write lyrics inspired by history, fiction, and imagination. Some songs tell true stories. Others ask “what if?” or dive into pure emotion. It’s all part of the same creative process I love.

Every lyric starts with pen and paper. I write in my spare time, shaping lines until they click — then I see if they can fly.

To bring them to life, I use AI as a tool.
I have deep respect for real musicians — their craft inspires me.
AI is just another instrument, like a guitar or plugin. I don’t press a button and call it done — I steer it. I test sounds, reject what doesn’t work, and tweak the emotion until it feels right.

The goal? Lyrics that resonate — stories you can feel, or emotions you can fall into. And tracks I’d want to listen to myself.

Collectively, it's a genre known as QUIRKPOP --- Music that tries to push the creative limits of traditional pop.

SINCERE IMPOSTER is curated by two musicians, both living within the same body, sharing a similar existence. They identify as Danielle & Dave. They are both psychologically and musically confused. However, both are extremely and unapologetically sincere. 

Influences include Weird Al, Nathan Fielder, David Lynch, Rosalia, Monatik, Atarashii Gakko!, Rammstein, T-Pain and T-Swift. Danielle & Dave's favorite inventions are the vacuum and the peach pitter. Their father is simply known as Vessel... who may be an entity or a god.
