Auf dem Wolfsruh wurde ich dieses Jahr gefragt, ob ich denn in die Kirche gehen würde, da ich stets zu so unchristlichen Zeiten spiele. Zu Recht, da ich dieses Mal am Sonntagmorgen von 5:00 bis 6:30 in der Halle 4 dran war. Eine Zeit, die für mich aber kein Problem darstellt, denn mich findet man höchstens auf illegalen Ravemessen😎 

2025 hatte ich außerdem mal Bock auf Abwechslung und ein wenig Experimentieren, weshalb ich keine Amphepop overproduced brainmelt trance edits spielen wollte (sorry! <3<3<3). Nächstes Jahr gerne wieder :)

Zwei Tage vor Beginn vom Wolfsruh, die Gedanken schon voller Vorfreude, aber körperlich noch ziemlich verkabelt vom Sägewerk am We davor, hatte ich endlich die Zeit, mich an die Vorbereitungen für dieses Set zu machen.
Dann der Schock: Ich hatte immer noch nicht so wirklich eine Ahnung, was ich denn jetzt überhaupt spielen will :D Irgendeine Mischung aus Psytrance und ein wenig Gen-Z-Powertrance, um dem Dachdecker zwischendrin mal eine Pause zu gönnen, kam mir aber ganz gescheit vor. 

Trotzdem habe ich auf irgendeine Art Eingebung gehofft. Daher wurde dann erstmal der Wetterbericht für den 7.9. gecheckt. Vollmond, klarer Sternenhimmel und Sonnenaufgang um 6:24 - damit konnte man schonmal was anfangen. 
Meine Hoffnung war, die ersten Sonnenstrahlen auf dem Dancefloor in ein paar Glücksgefühle zu verwandeln und damit stand schon für mich der letzte Track: Der über 10 Jahre alt Hit Mala von Tropical Bleyage, der meiner Meinung nach genau für diese Momente produziert wurde (die Musikrichtung heißt sogar Morning Full-On alsooo come on).

Überraschenderweise gefiel mir teilweise der Oldschool Morning-Full-On-Psytrance, da dieser nicht ganz so Darkpsy-Forest-Proggy-Trance-Edgelord mäßg ist, für mein Set ziemlich gut. Die treibende, melodische und nicht ganz so mit random-Sound-FX volle Richtung sprach mich schon sehr an und passte sogar halbwegs gut zum Powertrance-Vibe. Das gute alte "normale" Full-On-Psytrance (Electric Universe💜) mit all seinen teilweise cringy Vocals (es ist manchmal ein Kompromiss leider) und random Sounds durfte aber natürlich auch nicht fehlen. Mit diesen Überlegungen hab ich mich dann aufgemacht auf eine 6 stündige Wanderung durch Moabit und Prenzlauer Berg, um die Tracks für mein Set zu diggen. 

Mir blieb keine Zeit zum Üben, schon gar nicht auf CDJs, daher muss ich zugeben, so ähnlich unvorbereitet war mein Set nur auf dem WR 2021. Daher war das Wort "Nervenkitzel" für mich am Samstagabend eine grobe Untertreibung - mein innerer Dialog richtete sich deutlich gegen mich selbst und so redete ich mir abwechselnd ein und aus, dass ich ein Impostor sei und alle mich nach meinem Set mit Tomaten bewerfen und vom Festival jagen würden.

Die Zeichen der Nacht standen aber auf meiner Seite: Nicht nur war der Vollmond zu sehen, daneben tauchte auch der Saturn auf! Gegen 5 Uhr Morgens standen dann auch Jupiter und Venus deutlich erkennbar über der Halle 4 am Himmel. Mehr kosmische Botschaften hat es nicht gebraucht um mir zu verdeutlich, dass Psytrance die richtige Wahl war! Mit neu gefundenem Selbstbewusstsein und dem Universum auf meiner Seite ging ich also Richtung Booth.

Tja, was soll ich sagen? Man munkelt, wir hätten mit unserem Tanz den Blutmond noch am selben Tag heraufbeschworen. Die magischen Sonnenstrahlen haben allerdings ein paar Minütchen zu lang auf sich warten lassen, ich hoffe aber, ich konnte gut Stimmung auf sie machen :)
