Title: YOUR CHOICE!

Scripture: Genesis 3:1-4
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Genesis 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Genesis 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Sermon Points:
-	In verse one, the Bible says, “The serpent said,” and in verse three it states, “God hath said.”
-	God does not create an appetite unless he gives us the fulfillment of that appetite.
-	God gave them a desire to love and provided the love of a mate and his love, which is the ultimate.
-	Then suddenly another appears he was attractive, but had nothing for man, but talk and lies.
01.	Adam and Eve now find themselves having to decide who they will listen to and follow.
-	Girls, don’t listen to Satan. Your body is sacred and only to be touched by your husband.
-	I Thessalonians 4:3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
-	I Thessalonians 4:4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
-	You young girls have a choice to believe some boy who has done nothing for you or your Saviour who has done everything for you.
02.	It’s been 6000 years since that day and not much has changed.
-	Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
-	Choices have results. The labor that was to result in pure satisfaction is now shrouded in disappointment and harsh labor.
-	Genesis 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
-	Genesis 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
-	Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
-	Not all consequences are immediate.
-	Psalms 73:17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
-	Psalms 73:18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
-	That baby will be loved by you and its grandparents, but it will also be a reminder of the sin of ignoring God and listening to Satan.
03.	Mothers
-	It doesn’t make sense for young people to follow a bunch of their friends who have done nothing for them while turning their back on a mother who has done everything for them.
04.	Fathers
05.	Your Church
-	Then you grow up free to choose, and you choose somebody not even in church and leave the church and the teachers and the preachers who have giving you their life.
-	You, who do such things are no different than Adam and Eve, who received all that God had done, and followed someone who had never done one solitary thing for them.
06.	Jesus
-	Satan has done nothing for you except use other peers and friends to lure you away from the one who did everything for you.
