Title: THE LORD’S TREASURY!

Scripture: Joshua 6:17-19
Joshua 6:17 And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.
Joshua 6:18 And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.
Joshua 6:19 But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.

Sermon Points:
-	Leviticus. 27:30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S: it is holy unto the LORD.
-	When something is sanctified it is something that is set apart to be put in God’s treasury. It is holy and sanctified.
01.	The Animals.
-	Deuteronomy 14:22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.
-	Deuteronomy 14:23 And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.
02.	The Sabbath Day.
-	Leviticus 20:26 And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
-	Exodus 16:23 And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.
-	If someone broke the Sabbath day in the Bible times, they would be stoned to death. The penalty was not for breaking the Sabbath day; it was for taking something that was set apart for God’s Treasury.
03.	The Tithe of the Harvest.
-	Deuteronomy 14:22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year 
-	Thus, if one took the 10 bushels, the tithe, he was touching something that belong to God.  Holy set apart for God.  The Bible says that the tithe is holy set apart in God’s treasury.
-	Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
-	Malachi 3:9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
04.	The Tithe of the increase.
-	Deuteronomy 14:22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.
-	The tithe is showing your obedience to God, your offering is showing your love for God!
-	Whether one likes it or not, the tithe belongs to Jesus, not man. The tithe is holy. Your tithe is already in God’s treasury. If man does not pay it, it is as if he were sticking his hand in God’s treasury and stealing from God.
-	The issue was not the GOLD, silver or the garment. The issue was they belonged to God. It was holy. It is a very serious thing to take what belongs to God.
-	Ecclesiastes 5:5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.
-	God made it plain, do not take what is mine. They did not listen, but they listened instead to Satan and because of that, we are all sinners, and there is suffering on earth, and eternal suffering for some.
