I’m a music fan as much as anyone else so I’ve been locked into the rap battle between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. The ‘Not Like Us’ instrumental was stuck in my head over the weekend, so I decided to look into the composition. It turns out that DJ Mustard who produced the record, sampled a song from 1968 by Monk Higgins so I sampled it myself, chopped it up into slices on my beat machine and blam, this is the end result I came up with! 140bpm, Grime vibes! 

I don’t usually put out free downloads but I have no plans to release it officially due to it being a sample based instrumental. I made it for a bit of fun so feel free to use it for freestyles or whatever floats your boat!!

- Preditah has become a household name within the UK music scene and beyond for his cutting edge music productions, scoping from Garage through to House and the list continues on. He started out producing for local talent in his hometown Birmingham, UK and built his sound through self-taught production skills in his bedroom as a young teenager. Advancing through life, he decided to head to college to learn in depth music theory to add to his natural music talent. Whilst at University he had the big break he was hoping for when (Boy Better Know CEO) JME picked up on one of his Grime instrumentals titled (The Big Wok). He would often say to this day that it was that moment that started the hype to his career. He went on putting out a few EP’s with Logan Sama’s (Earth616) label and cemented his sound within the Grime scene. Producing countless amounts of tracks for the likes of Roll Deep, Boy Better Know plus many others, he was reaping all of the benefits from the groundwork he did within his hometown Birmingham. His career took another advance when he started DJ-ing across the country. He not only was getting insane crowd responses from his live mixing and blending but also had major co-signs from the likes of DJ EZ, David Rodigan & more! Whilst that was happening on the front end he was still in the studio putting out Official remixes for the likes of Disclosure, Gorgon City and Chase & Status just to name a few. He was bringing a fresh new take on said remixes that we’re predominately Garage and House which gave him respect from legends in the scene like Wookie. In 2017 life took a major turn when he collaborated with Jorja Smith on the Garage classic ‘On My Mind’ which gave him another advance in his career. He went on to sign a deal with Atlantic Records in 2018 and continued working on records with artists and song-writers that we’re on their roster. In 2019 he produced alongside Fred Again a top 10 charting record for Mist & Fredo titled So High’ and gained even more credibility within the UK music scene. 2021 he decided to go down the independent route and launched his own label ‘Dats Right Radio’ due to the shift of normality after Lockdown and has started putting out music he really wants to release without any limitation from A&R’s and managers. Now in his 30’s he recently stated that he will be pushing his musical vision further whilst still putting out music he loved on a regular bases.

Multi-genre DJ, Radio personality & Producer just about sums up CNDJTana. A DJ since the age of 18, Tana’s passion for music hasn’t changed one bit as his adventure on the decks becomes more successful. His unique energetic mixing style and historic selection of music, makes the dance floor an unforgettable vibe for clubbers and radio listeners across the UK and aims to explore the world. 

Being a British Nigerian, raised in South East London helped Tana to understand and appreciate other genres of music more and inspire him to explore new sounds. Using virtual DJ, he began to record and upload dancehall, afrobeats, funky and house mixes on YouTube for friends he would attend parties with at the age of 16, at this point Tana had never put his hands on a pair of decks. In 2011 during Tana’s college years, he decided to expand his skills by learning how to work the decks using CDs to become a real disc jockey at a studio in East London. 

Tana perfected his skills, playing at under 18 events until, 2013 when Tana joined @SID_ents also known as Shut It Down Entertainment, an entertainment company with a collective of dancers, promoters, music artists & now their own DJ. Tana played at rememberable events, such as Route2Love, WaveyWednesdays and AfrobeatsWithAfroBParty to name a few as well as making guest mix appearances on Reprezent Radio. By the end of 2013 Tana released his 1st two compilation mixes, 'AfroDiary Vol 1' which focused on the afrobeats sound and a multi-genre mix titled 'CodeName Vol 1'. 

Amongst others, Tana was responsible for bringing a new genre to the peoples ears in 2015. AfroSwing was emerging, influenced by Afrobeats, Dancehall and UK rap, which Tana was playing at the time. His hard work and great feedback on mixes had not gone unnoticed as he broke into the UKs university party scene, playing at iconic events, like IAmFresher, MasterClass, Barfest, Outchea & ChampagneCampaign, plus more. 

Tana wanted his voice to be heard and progressed to online radio joining GFM Radio in 2020, up until the summer, when he was recruited to join UK’s leading atlas to black music culture, No Signal. Originally influenced by the UK Garage, Grime culture and then UK Rap music, Tana started collecting classic mixtapes and albums. This was the birth of #CodeNameOnline, A show where Tana advocated, played and mixed tracks from the UKs mainstream and underground artist acts such as Wiley, Skepta, Novelist, Giggs, K-Trap, Headie One, Duppy, Renz, SBK, Kojo Funds, NSG, J Hus, Conducta, Champion and more.

After the end of the pandemic in 2022, Tana has started hosting is own events, for his supporters within his home city London, under @CodeNameParties. Tana continues to headline countless events and clubs across the UK, aiming to play at major festivals around the world, he made his debut International booking at Hideout Festival 2022 in Croatia where he played House and Garage music to over 1000 people.

Music production is the next step in Tana’s adventure, as he explores ways to bring out his own creative and energetic sound. Tana is working on 120 – 140 BPM instrumentals, which could be released this year.

The Haus Catz crew was founded in 2018 in Denver, Colorado and their sound revolves around a wide-ranging palette of house, club, and techno - featuring breaks, lo-fi, and leftfield cuts. The Haus Catz roster includes Tailspin, DJ PurRpLeXeD, and Pounces. 

As Haus Catz, they’ve hosted multiple residencies and takeovers in Denver, including their own parties with Madam X, Hammer, 1tbsp, Baltra, dj poolboi, Kareem Ali, DJ Planet Express, Luke Hess, and GILA. They’ve also shared the stage as direct support with an array of leftfield house favorites, including Leon Vynehall, Ross From Friends, Barry Can't Swim, Will Saul, and Kill_Frenzy.

Their debut “Club Nip, Vol. 1” EP was released on their Catz Trax label in 2022 with radio support from Baltra and Ouri, as well as Spotify Track IDs charting by Dameeeela. Their sophomore "Club Nip, Vol. 2" EP was recently released on their label with advance support from Martyn Bootyspoon, DJ Plead, Dark Sky / Benyayer, and Heartwerk. 

Recently, Haus Catz have been working on more original productions that encapsulate the sound and spirit of their live performances - moody, groovy, and pspspsychedelic.
