4th dimensional V3

BI-POLARITY is my second EP that I worked on with the artist known as Yakashi X. in 2021, I wrote and recorded all of these songs while I was living in Phoenix, Arizona. it was in the hight of COVID and after my grandma passed away I moved from Washington state to the Sonoran Desert. while living with my family, I wrote the first two songs when the sun was shining and temps were rising... next thing I knew, storm clouds rolled in and it was pouring. THIS truly added to the idea of a full on bipolar themed tape. I was really interested in doing this due to my battles with bipolar disorder. the next day, when I woke up, I went and recorded everything in my parents bathroom. this took me 6 hours to get all of two songs done, and then the last two I just needed to wait until the sun was going down to catch the vibe. 
I was very insecure during this time and had a hard time releasing anything. fast forward 3 years and I finally did it.

I wrote this lyrics as a kind of journey through the cosmos and us, about what we are, where we came from and where we are going. It speaks of creation, matter and soul, of this eternal cycle of being born, shining and disappearing, but also of love and connection with the whole. I wrote it like a poem, in an incredible sunset on the banks of the Tagus, with friends nearby. Then I adapted between languages and made the best adaptation in order to immortalize that moment, right vibe.

Foi como reviver aquelas experiências mágicas, que permanecem em nossas vidas e não apenas na memória, mas também no cotidiano, como um sentimento profundo, persistente. Esta é uma reprise de uma jornada interior poética e espiritual, onde a alma é observada através das “mil janelas”, metáfora para as múltiplas percepções do eu. Cada verso representa um reflexo, um fragmento de consciência em diálogo com o infinito. Entre introspeção e transcendência: o “eu” que escreve é também o “eu” que se lê, dissolvendo a fronteira entre criador e criação. Uma fusão entre matéria e espírito, luz e sombra, corpo e pensamento.

Patrik "Rydan" Rydberg is a sound designer, composer, musician and technichian. He loves to experiment with sound and audio technology, and has among other things made a song using nothing but white noise as audio source, and “a cappella”-remixes, where he has used only the lead vocal as audio source.

Patrik’s musical influences are diverse, and range from commercial pop music, via synthpop, EBM, Techno/Trance/Ambient, Heavy/Death Metal to noise, drones and experimental electroacoustic music, with a bit of classical and post-classical music thrown in for good measure. His own productions lean towards the quirky/experimental electronic segment, while his collaborations and remixes tend to be slightly more well defined affairs.
