"Customs" plays with the familiar yet distant feeling of spaces we pass through but never truly inhabit. A muffled melody floats just beyond recognition, teasing the listener's memory like a half-forgotten announcement echoing from somewhere unseen. The track dwells in that peculiar space between clarity and obscurity, where sounds become shapes rather than meanings, all held together by deep bass movements and precise percussion that feels both mechanical and organic.

BI-POLARITY is my second EP that I worked on with the artist known as Yakashi X. in 2021, I wrote and recorded all of these songs while I was living in Phoenix, Arizona. it was in the hight of COVID and after my grandma passed away I moved from Washington state to the Sonoran Desert. while living with my family, I wrote the first two songs when the sun was shining and temps were rising... next thing I knew, storm clouds rolled in and it was pouring. THIS truly added to the idea of a full on bipolar themed tape. I was really interested in doing this due to my battles with bipolar disorder. the next day, when I woke up, I went and recorded everything in my parents bathroom. this took me 6 hours to get all of two songs done, and then the last two I just needed to wait until the sun was going down to catch the vibe. 
I was very insecure during this time and had a hard time releasing anything. fast forward 3 years and I finally did it.

I wrote this lyrics as a kind of journey through the cosmos and us, about what we are, where we came from and where we are going. It speaks of creation, matter and soul, of this eternal cycle of being born, shining and disappearing, but also of love and connection with the whole. I wrote it like a poem, in an incredible sunset on the banks of the Tagus, with friends nearby. Then I adapted between languages and made the best adaptation in order to immortalize that moment, right vibe.
