One day I was hit with the realization that because of the rotation of the earth, there are always people praising God, praying to Him and hearing what He has to say through corporate worship or through studying His Word. One part of the world is waking up while another part of the world is going to bed. A pastor is stepping up to the pulpit in Kenya while it is the middle of the night here in the United States. And vice versa. At all times of the day and night, there are peoples of every nation praising God for who He is and the love He has shown us by sending His Son into the world to die for me. What beautiful music that praise must be to God's listening ears.

Praying With The Eyes is a ministry of Family of Christ Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs which combines the beauty of God's Word with the beauty of his creation.

Let me introduce myself. I am a contemporary Christian songwriter who has "borrowed" the beautiful voices of Katie Smith, Marty Martin, Luke Hibbard, and Namarah McCall to record these songs. I am forever thankful for their enthusiastic willingness to make my songs come to life. In addition to writing worship songs, I like to write songs that touch the heart, stir compassion and help one relive those special moments in life. Many of my songs are faith-based family songs, and they include a special song written for each of my grandchildren. I hope that my songs will also resonate in your own heart as your personal prayers and love songs for God and for family.
